The Inland Real Estate – The US commercial real estate and finance group has appointed Jovan Marconi as CIO. Marconi joined Inland Real Estate Investment in 2021 as vice-president and head of investment system strategies. Prior to joining Inland Investments, he served as head of investment technology at Legal and General Investment Management America. He also held positions with Invesco, Aegon Asset Management and Mercer Investment Consulting, where he focused on implementing technology platforms, enhancing operational efficiencies and mitigating business risk.
CIP Real Estate – Ankoor Jivan has been appointed EVP of acquisitions for the Southeastern US. Jivan will use his expertise in commercial real estate investment and development to drive CIP Real Estate’s strategic expansion in key markets in the Carolinas, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida and Texas. He will be based in Atlanta. Most recently, Jivan served as a partner at Foundry Commercial, where he led acquisition and development initiatives.
Atlas Energy Solutions – Chris Scholla has been appointed chief operating officer. Scholla joined the company in 2017, serving first as VP of supply chain and logistics until his promotion to chief supply chain officer in November 2022. As chief supply chain officer, Scholla has been responsible for the firm’s end-to-end supply chain operations, as well as customer service and support. Scholla led the firm’s entry into the oilfield logistics market in 2019 and has overseen the company’s strategic logistics growth initiatives.
Trinity Investments – The US-based hospitality real estate investment firm’s investments team in Los Angeles has appointed Luke Toland as MD and head of the firm’s newly formed debt platform, and Stephany Chen as SVP of acquisitions. Toland will oversee the firm’s strategy for investing in private credit and special situations. Toland joins from BofA Securities, where he was an MD in the real estate, gaming and lodging investment banking group. Chen will be responsible for overseeing the identification and execution of acquisition opportunities. Chen joins Trinity from JLL’s hotels and hospitality group, where she was the US lead for the global hotels desk.
NAS Invest – The real estate investor and asset manager has appointed Stephanie Cohen as head of legal and compliance to succeed Simon Velten. Cohen was most recently a senior associate at Clifford Chance and focused on real estate and corporate law. She reports to the CEO of NAS Invest, Steffen Ricken.
Peachtree Group – Vickie Callahan has been promoted to president of the firm’s hospitality management division. In her new role, Callahan will oversee the company’s portfolio of owned and third-party-managed hotels. Callahan previously held vice-president of revenue management positions with Atrium Hospitality and JQH Hotels. Before that, she held various sales, marketing, and revenue management executive committee positions with Starwood Hotels and Resorts. Callahan serves on the Marriott revenue management franchise advisory board and engages with multiple committees to enhance hotel sales and revenue management disciplines.
The Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult – Maida Zahirovic has been appointed non-executive director. Maida, head of renewables at James Fisher & Sons, has significant experience in the offshore wind sector gained through senior roles at some of the top companies in the industry.
