Commerz Real – Nadia Eichelberger has been appointed global head of the firm’s €11bn office and industrial real estate business on 1 September. To date, the position has been held by Jens Böhnlein, global head of asset management and sustainability, in a dual capacity. Eichelberger is joining the company from Branicks Onsite, where she was most recently employed as head of the Frankfurt am Main branch and was also responsible for a portfolio comprising office and logistics properties. Her previous roles include stints at Triuva Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaft and GE Real Estate.
JP Morgan Asset Management – Josh Myerberg has been appointed managing director and head of portfolio strategy for core and core-plus real estate Americas investment platforms. Myerberg was CIO and deputy head of Morgan Stanley’s largest core real estate fund for over a decade. Prior to his portfolio management role, he was responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and executing transactions on the West Coast for Morgan Stanley’s real estate funds. Myerberg’s career began at Bank of America Securities’ real estate investment banking group and First Union Securities. He is an active member of ULI, serves as the chair and a board member of NAREIM and is a member of the Real Estate Round Table. In his new role, Myerberg will spearhead portfolio strategy, oversee the core and core-plus real estate teams and the strategic property, special situation property, and US real estate income and growth strategies.
Trinity Investments – The US-based hospitality-focused real estate investor has expanded its leadership with the addition of Rob Tanenbaum, SVP of strategic operations, based in Miami, Florida. Tanenbaum is responsible for overseeing the strategic operations of Trinity’s hotels on the East Coast of the US. Tanenbaum joins Trinity with over 30 years of experience in hospitality, most recently serving as managing director and head of North American hotel asset management at Starwood Capital Group. Prior to Starwood, Tanenbaum held senior asset management roles at two leading US hotel REITs – Park Hotels & Resorts and DiamondRock Hospitality Company. Tanenbaum launched and ran, for nearly a decade, his own independent consultancy, Madison Hotel Advisors, which specialised in optimising value for hotel owners through strategic planning, revenue management and capital allocation.
RoundShield Partners – The European real estate and asset-backed investment manager has appointed Drazen Visnjevac as a director within the investment team. Visnjevac will focus on the origination, underwriting and execution of purpose-built student accommodation investments across Western Europe and the UK. Visnjevac spent five years at Round Hill Capital, rising to SVP of investments. Previously, he was an investment associate at The Social Hub.
PulteGroup – Bob O’Shaughnessy, the US housebuilder’s EVP and CFO, intends to retire at the end of 2025. Jim Ossowski, currently PulteGroup’s SVP, finance, has been named successor. O’Shaughnessy, who joined the company in 2011, will continue to serve as PulteGroup CFO until the end of this year. O’Shaughnessy will then remain with PulteGroup until the end of 2025 as EVP. Ossowski has been promoted to EVP and CFO effective February 2025. Over his 22-year career with PulteGroup, Ossowski has served as VP, finance and corporate controller; VP, finance, homebuilding operations; area VP, finance and director of corporate audit.
Burges Salmon – Alexandra Clayton has joined the law firm as a director in its real estate department. Clayton joins from Linklaters, where she was a managing associate in its real estate team.
The Metcor Group – Philip Fellowes-Prynne has been appointed group managing director. Before joining Metcor, Fellowes-Prynne was CEO at Efficient Building Solutions, where he championed sustainable practices within the construction industry.
National Development – Linda Swain has been appointed vice-president of marketing and communications. Swain brings over 25 years of transformative marketing leadership to her new role, having previously served in senior leadership positions at Redgate and JLL. Swain will lead the creation and execution of all National Development internal and external marketing and communications.
