CBRE Caledon – The infrastructure and private-equity fund manager acquired by CBRE last year has opened a London office and hired Andreas Köttering to lead its European operations. Köttering will serve as partner and head of infrastructure for Europe and be responsible for building a team in London. Prior to joining, Köttering was the co-head of European infrastructure at Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund GIC. He also previously held senior infrastructure roles with Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, Citi, Schroders and Siemens.
Invesco Real Estate – Victoria Stanley has been appointed director of fund management for residential investment. Stanley will help expand the firm’s European private-rented and build-to-rent residential strategy, which was launched in 2014. Stanley joins from Long Harbour where she contributed to the firm’s establishment and growth of its residential fund strategy.
Patron Capital – Matteo Busà has been named partner to lead Patron’s investments in Italy. He joins from GIC, where he was a vice president. Before spending 10 years at GIC, Busà spent four years working in real estate investment at Pirelli Real Estate and then JER Partners. He will be based in London.
The Collective – the co-living specialist has hired Greystar’s Adina David as investment vice president. David will help lead investment management, including investor liaison, transaction management, fundraising and strategies for growth. As part of Greystar’s investment team in London, David focused on acquisitions of new build-to-rent, student and alternative residential investments in the UK. Prior to this, she worked in acquisitions and asset management for The Dermot Company, a New York-based real estate investment business. She started her career in commercial real estate with Knight Frank in Bucharest, Romania in 2010.
ElmTree Funds – Annie Hsieh has joined the real estate private equity firm as executive vice president of investor relations. Hsieh will lead capital raising and investor relations, based in New York City. Before joining ElmTree, Hsieh covered US institutional investors as a director on the client relations team at ZAIS Group. Prior to this, she managed both investor relations and business development for Five Mile Capital.
CREFC Europe – Barry Fowler, managing director for alternative income at Aviva Investors, has been elected to chair the trade association. He succeeds Dale Lattanzio of DRC Capital. Emma Huepfl, founder of Laxfield Capital and a CREFC Europe board member since 2014, became chair-elect.
AMP Capital – Michel Debs has joined the global listed infrastructure team as a portfolio manager/analyst. Based in London, Debs will be responsible for covering utilities infrastructure across Europe and Asia. He joins from Citi where he was most recently a director in the utilities research team. Prior to this, he was a vice-president at Credit Suisse on the utilities research team. Debs began his career at PwC in accounting and also worked at KPMG.
