Standard Life Investments, Grainger, Gatehouse Bank, NEINVER

Standard Life Investments – Toshio Tangiku has been appointed as Asia-Pacific real estate equities analyst, based in Hong Kong. Toshio joins from LaSalle Investment Management and will report to Svitlana Gubriy, fund manager, real estate listed funds.

Grainger – Ian Coull will join the board as a non-executive director in September. Coull will be proposed as chairman at Grainger’s AGM next February, when Robin Broadhurst will retire as a director and chairman. Coull has been chairman of Galliford Try since 2011 and was chief executive of SEGRO from 2003 to 2011.

Gatehouse Bank – The bank has fully staffed its real estate finance team, hiring Nick Westoby from RBS, Arnaud Schaller from Credit Agricole and Eduardo Martin from Banco Popular Espanol. The trio will support Natale Giostra, head of real estate finance at the London-based Shariah-compliant investment bank.

NEINVER – Thomas Immelmann has been appointed as retail director. Immelmann joins NEINVER from McArthurGlen where he was manager for Northern Europe.
