TIAA Henderson Real Estate – Shawn Kaufman, former head of syndicated real estate and agency at RBS, has joined as director of debt strategies – origination and syndication. Kaufman previously worked for Stonebridge Private Capital, where he was a partner, and Barclays Capital.
Christoph Wagner, a director in the real estate debt team at BlackRock since 2012, will join TH Real Estate as director of debt strategies - origination and structuring next month. Prior to BlackRock, Wagner has worked for Barclays Capital, Morgan Stanley and McKinsey & Company.
Chris Parfitt has been appointed director of shopping centres in TH Real Estate’s London office. Parfitt has previously worked at Prudential and Centros, as well as Cushman and Wakefield.
La Française – Patrice Genre has been appointed chairman of the firm’s La Française Real Estate Partners entity. Genre founded DTZ Asset Management, where he was chief executive officer until October last year. He has also worked for Goldman Sachs and Suez-Lyonnaise des Eaux Group.
Thor Equities – Jared Hart has been hired to lead the developer’s European acquisitions team. Hart was previously at Pears Global Real Estate Investors and has also worked at Matrix and Cushman & Wakefield.
CBRE – Vladimir Pinaev has been appointed as chief executive officer of the company’s Russian business. Pinaev previously worked for Russian real estate developer MR Group and has also worked for JLL Russia. He will replace Alexander Polenok next month.
Landmark Partners – Jarrett Vitulli has been appointed principal in New York. Vitulli, who will focus on sourcing, underwriting, and structuring real estate secondary transactions, was previously managing director at UBS.
Hibernia REIT – Tom Edwards-Moss has been appointed chief financial officer of W K Nowlan REIT Management, the investment manager of Hibernia. Edwards-Moss joins from Credit Suisse.
Dentons – Pawel Debowski has been appointed as chair of the law firm’s European real estate group. Previously co-chairman of the group and head of central Europe real estate, Debowksi joined the firm’s Warsaw office from Clifford Chance in 2010.
JTC Group – Philip Hendy has been appointed director of real estate services. Hendy joins from State Street and has also previously worked for DTZ, Donaldsons and Chesterton.
