Keva – Petri Suutarinen has taken over as head of real estate at Finland’s Local Government Pensions Institution (Keva). His predecessor Erkki Markkola has retired.
APREA – Peter Verwer has been appointed as chief executive of Asia Pacific Real Estate Association.
Verwer, currently chief executive of the Property Council of Australia, will replace Peter Mitchell in July. APREA said Verwer’s current political priorities are tax modernisation, urban policy, sustainability, financial services and regulatory reform.
INREV – Lonneke Löwik is leaving the European Association for Investors in Non-listed Real Estate Vehicles. Löwik, director of professional standards for the industry body, will leave at the end of the month.
A replacement for Lowik is being recruited, Matthias Thomas told a press conference at INREV’s annual conference today.
Warburg-Henderson – Henning Klöppelt has left Warburg-Henderson. A replacement is being sought. In the meantime, his duties are being covered by Eitel Coridaß and Andreas Ertle.
Knight Frank Investment Management – Belinda Harris and Charlotte Tolfree have been respectively appointed as investment manager and head of investment analysis.
Harris was previously an associate director in Capita’s national investment team. Harris will focus on acquisitions and asset management.
Tolfree, who joins Knight Frank from CBRE Global Investors, will focus on investment analysis.
Forum Securities – Sophia Banar has been appointed managing director and strategic risk and portfolio manager at the listed real estate fund manager. Banar joins from The Tuckerman Group, an affiliate of State Street Global Advisors.
