CBRE Global Investors – Paul Sisson has been appointed head of Americas for CBRE Global Multi Manager. Sisson will be based in New York and will lead the firm’s Americas multi-manager team and be responsible for both debt and equity investment in primary funds, secondaries, co-investments and joint ventures. Sisson was previously senior vice president and head of originations for Brookfield Real Estate Financial Partners and has also worked for Starwood Capital Group.

CalPERS – The California Public Employees’ Retirement System has named Tom McDonagh acting senior inestment officer for real assets. McDonagh will take over the position vacated by Ted Eliopoulos, who has been named interim chief investment officer. Eliopoulos has replaced Joe Dear who passed away. 

CBRE – Martin Samworth and Daniel Queenan have been appointed as respective chief executive officers for the EMEA and APAC regions. Samworth was previously managing director of EMEA, where he oversaw operation management. Queenan previously served as chief operating officer of APAC. Queenan will oversee operational management of APAC and will continue to serve as chief executive officer of CBRE’s development services subsidiary, Trammell Crow.

Mayfair Capital Investment Management – William Hill has been appointed as a non-executive director. Hill was formerly head of property at Schroders and stepped down in October last year. Hill, who has chaired AREF, is a member of the BPF’s finance committee. He has also taken a role at AshbyCapital (see below).

AshbyCapital – Andrew Baum, William Hill and John Stephen have been appointed to a newly-created advisory board to provide strategic investment advice to the company. Baum is chairman of Property Funds Research. Stephen retired from JLL in 2009, and has a range of non-exec and advisory board roles, including Exemplar Properties, Evans Property Group and Max Property Group.

Allianz Real Estate – Lionel Naturkrejt has been appointed head of acquisitions for France and Benelux. Naturkrejt joined Allianz in 2010 as a senior asset manager for the group’s French real estate division. Naturkrejt has also worked for Unibail and AMB Property Corporation (Prologis).

Cushman & Wakefield – Juliette Morgan has been appointed as head of property at Tech City UK. Morgan will join the agency as a partner in its London office and will remain on secondment with Tech City UK.
