Christian Delaire is leaving Generali Real Estate.
The Milan-based investment manager said Francesco Benvenuti will take up the role of CEO on an interim basis.
Benvenuti is currently chief operating officer, a role he will continue to hold.
Delaire joined Generali in early 2014, having previously been at the helm of AEW Europe.
Delaire had replaced Giancarlo Scotti.
Generali last year recruited former TH Real Estate director Anthony Butler as head of a new, global corporate finance department. Butler, who set up and ran TIAA-CREF’s European platform, is based in Paris and monitors indirect real estate investments made by the Generali group.
In 2014, Andy Tan was appointed head of operations in Asia, joining the Italian firm from MEAG Pacific Star Asset Management.
