Sovereign Land, the UK retail and leisure developer and asset manager, has made two appointments to support its growth plans.
James Snaith has joined as a senior analyst and Alexandra Pugh as a senior surveyor.
Snaith was previously an assistant fund manager and analyst at Valad Europe, and before that, an associate director of Rom Capital.
Pugh was previously a retail portfolio surveyor at Network Rail Infrastructure. She will focus on leasing and asset management at three shopping centres, St Enoch in Glasgow, Telford and Ayr Central.
Chris Geaves, chief executive of Sovereign Land, said: 'Sovereign Land has grown substantially over the last four years and continues to expand. The appointments of James and Alexandra are the first of a number of others we intend to make to support this growth.
'During 2013, we were involved in a series of shopping centre acquisitions, including two of the largest in the UK, St Enoch Centre in Glasgow in partnership with Blackstone, and Elephant & Castle Shopping Centre in south London with Delancey and APG, and our pipeline for 2014 is just as exciting.'
Established in 1989, Sovereign Land has more than £1.5 bn (€1.8 bn) of assets under management and is developing more than 370,000 m2 of space in partnership with some of the world’s major real estate investors. Projects include Telford Shopping Centre, St Enoch Centre in Glasgow and Lion Walk in Colchester.
