USAA Real Estate Company – Maximilian von Below has joined the firm as executive director, heading up European client relationships. Von Below joins the firm from AM Alpha in Munich where he was director of institutional sales and pan-European marketing.
Cordea Savills – Antti Laine has been appointed as asset manager for the firm’s Nordic Retail Fund. Maria Ingelson has been appointed as asset manager for Nordic assets held by its pan-European funds and Lauren Carroll has been appointed as portfolio analyst. Laine joins from Centeni Holding and began his career at EFM Sverige. Ingelson joins from Unibail-Rodamco, while Carroll was previously a fund analyst at Internos Global Investors in London.
CBRE Global Investors – Sigrid Duhamel has been appointed country manager of France. Duhamel will join in December from PSA Peugeot Citroën where she is responsible for the firm’s real estate portfolio. Prior to joining PSA Peugeot Citroën, Duhamel was real estate development director at Carrefour Property International.
CBRE – Alexandre Astier has been appointed to lead the new Italian capital advisers department. Astier joins from Beni Stabili where he spent the last six years in roles including head of business development, head of asset management and head of advisory. The team will advise on real estate finance, including structuring or restructuring of investments, sourcing debt and raising equity for both direct and indirect real estate investments.
Genesta – Gunnar Mässing has been appointed senior retail adviser and Niclas Forsman has been appointed as an associate in the Stockholm office. Mässing was CEO of Kista Galleria from 2003 until 2013 while Forsman joins from Catella Corporate Finance.
Goodwin Procter – London-based Greg Barclay and 22 laywers have been elected to the firm’s partnership. Barclay is a member of the firm’s private investment funds group and advises on the formation of, and investment in, European and international private real estate funds
