Investec Corporate and Investment Banking – Ajeeth Narayan has been appointed to head the firm’s $6bn global aviation finance. Mike Francis will be the executive lead of the Aviation finance franchise, and Celia Britt will become COO. Narayan and Francis were two of the four founders of the Investec Aviation Finance franchise in 2002, and have been with Investec ever since. Britt joined Investec in 2005, and most recently managed the aviation portfolio.
Savills Investment Management – The global real estate investment manager has appointed Pierre Escande to head the firm’s €900m investment in France and Belux. Escande will be responsible for originating new investment opportunities. Escande joins Savills IM from AEW, where he was an executive director in the Paris office. He started his career at CBRE Capital Markets before moving to CBRE Global Investors in London.
Knight Frank – Mark Routledge has been appointed as a partner within the global property consultancy’s capital markets team. Routledge was formerly head of office investment at CBRE for over 9 years. Prior to this, he was head of investment at MEPC and a director at JLL.
90 North – The global commercial real estate investment manager has hired Karen Travis as head of business development. Travis will oversee the investor relations function, which includes relationships with current institutional investors as well as growing the institutional client base, on a global basis. She has held positions across investment and merchant banks including marketing and distribution roles at Lazard, Morgan Stanley and LNR (Starwood Property Trust).
