AMP Capital – Roopa Murthy has been appointed as director and Giles Gray as associate in its infrastructure debt team in London. Emma Haight-Cheng has been promoted to principal. Murthy has joined the firm from Credit Agricole’s energy and infrastructure team. Gray previously worked in the corporate finance (infrastructure) advisory team at PwC. Murthy and Gray will be focused on investment origination for infrastructure debt in the European market.
QIC – Paul Costello has been hired as independent chairman of its Global Infrastructure Investment Committee. Costello was the inaugural chief executive of Australia’s Future Fund and first chief executive of the New Zealand Superannuation Fund.
CBRE Global Investors – The firm has made three appointments for its Dutch Residential Fund (DRES). Paul Oremus has been appointed as fund manager, in addition to his role as country manager, Netherlands. He has been responsible for DRES on an interim basis since September. Ronald Gordijn has been appointed chief financial officer for DRES. Loes Driessen has been appointed as head of asset management for DRES.
Infracapital – Guy Hacking and Peter Mitchev has joined the firm’s transaction team. Hacking, who joins as an associate director, returns to the firm having spent two years as an investment and asset manager with Mocoh. Mitchev joins as an associate from the utilities and renewables team at RBC Capital Markets.
Catella – Arnaud de Sordi has been appointed head of investment in France. De Sordi, who joined the firm in 2002, has been a partner since late 2007. Géraldine Latham has been appointed as head of the corporate department in France. Latham joined Catella in 2006 and became a partner last year.
British Property Federation (BPF) – Duncan Salvesen, director of residential at Dorrington and Paul Winstanley, partner for residential valuation at Allsop have been appointed as vice-chairs of the body’s residential committee. Current chairman, John Coles, Co-owner of Evenbrook, steps down in April after five years. Alan Collett of M&G Real Estate and vice-chair, also steps down.
Patrizia Immobilien – Emile Poort has been appointed head of transaction management in the Netherlands. Poort joins from Colliers International and will become a member of the management team.
Pramerica Real Estate Investors – Benett Theseira, head of southeast Asia, will become head of the company’s Asia Pacific business. Morgan Laughlin, head of Asia Pacific, will become head of Japan.
