Warehouse REIT has added two logistics assets worth £37m (€42.9m) to its UK portfolio.
The AIM-listed specialist warehouse investor said it has exchanged contracts with undisclosed vendors to buy a multi-unit estate in Northampton and a multi-let industrial estate in Aberdeen.
The assets were purchased in two separate transactions.
In Northampton, Warehouse REIT has acquired the freehold of two John Lewis distribution units, totalling 336,000sqft.
In Aberdeen, the company has acquired the long leasehold 125,000sqft Murcar multi-let industrial estate. The estate is arranged across four separate terraces and is let to a range of occupiers.
Last month, Warehouse REIT raised £76.5m by way of a share placing, open offer and offer for subscription.
The company said today that the amount raised provided the company with £120m of capital to deploy.
