Savills Investment Management European logistics funds have acquired properties in Poland and the Netherlands for €52m.

The manager’s European Logistics Fund (ELF) 2 fund, which was closed to new investors in early 2019, has bought a fully-leased 38,270sqm logistics property in Łódź, Poland from Invesco Real Estate.

The ELF 3 fund, launched in late 2019, has bought two adjacent fully-let distribution centres in Den Bosch, the Netherlands from the Van Dijk Group. One property comprises 16,680sqm of rental space and was completed in 2018. The other has 19,425sqm of rental space and was completed in August 2020.

Daniel Hohenthanner, investment director at Savills IM, said, with these latest purchases, Savills IM has already successfully completed six logistics transactions with a total volume of over €250m for the ELF 2 and ELF 3 logistics funds, since the beginning of the year.

“Further properties in the Netherlands and France are at an advanced stage of acquisition. We are thus continuously expanding our strong position as one of the largest European investment companies in the logistics sector, with assets under management of €4.6bn.”
