Slate Asset Management – The global real estate investment platform has appointed Bozena Jankowska as managing director and global head of ESG, based in London. She will lead the development of best-in-class ESG practices and policies aimed at safeguarding the long-term performance of Slate’s global investments. Additionally, Jankowska will oversee and advance Slate’s corporate social responsibility strategy and the integration of ESG into Slate’s investment and asset management processes, as well as stakeholder communications and reporting. Jankowska was global co-head of ESG at Allianz Global Investors, responsible for ESG integration across the firm’s investment portfolio. After Allianz, Jankowska founded a women’s sustainable fashion label, overseeing the brand’s business strategy and creative direction.

CBRE –  Chris Ely has been appointed head of hotel asset management in Asia. Based in Singapore, Ely will lead CBRE’s hotel asset management and operator selection business within the capital markets team. Ely was most recently business development and asset management VP at Next Story Group. Prior to that, he held senior managerial positions at JLL, Outrigger Hotels & Resorts, and Jumeirah Group.

Trammell Crow Company – The commercial real estate developer and investor has appointed Matt Jones as UK development director, Sophie Watkins as UK planning director, Mike Freeley joins as UK construction director and Julan Shah as associate director, senior finance manager for financial planning and analysis Europe. Jones has worked for Lambert Smith Hampton, CBRE and more recently JLL as director in the UK big box logistics team. Watkins will provide planning advice from site inception through to construction and occupation. Prior to Trammell Crow Company, Watkins worked for iSec, Knight Frank and Gerald Eve. Freeley joins from DHL (Real Estate Solutions) where he was senior project manager and, prior to this, he was senior project manager at Hammerson. Shah joins from GL Hearn, where he was a finance manager.

Infinium Logistics Solutions – The pan-European logistics solutions business has appointed Phil Bayliss to lead its new property investment company, Infinium Logistics Properties as CEO. Bayliss joins from Legal & General, where he has held a number of senior roles over the past 14 years. He was most recently the CEO of Later Living at Legal & General Capital. In addition to his role as CEO of Infinium Logistics Properties, he has also taken on the role of executive chairman of Inspired Villages.

Pamera Real Estate PartnersJürgen Bleicher has been appointed to the firm’s management board. He assumes responsibility primarily for the development and asset management business areas. Bleicher founded Valcor Real Estate. He has worked for more than 20 years in the field of investment, development and asset management for investors and companies including AXA, IVG, KGAL, Frankonia and JE Robert, as well as the City of Munich. His earlier positions include head of the turnkey construction and development division at Heilit+Wörner Bau. Paul Wrobel joins as senior asset manager. Based in the company’s newly established Berlin/Potsdam office, he is responsible in particular for properties and projects in the north and east of Germany. He joins from Sonar Real Estate. Earlier in his career he held positions at, among others, Barings Real Estate and Argoneo Real Estate

Capital Bay – The real estate manager has Hongfei Chen Asia business development director. Most recently, She was most recently acquisitions managing director at Singapore Press Holding. She began her career in real estate research at CBRE and Moody’s. 

DTZ InvestorsJennifer Linacre has been appointed as head of responsible investment. Linacre joined the company in 2000 and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in investment, managing large discretionary and advisory property portfolios. In addition, Jennifer chairs the firm’s responsible investment committee. She also chairs the firm’s wellbeing committee.

Schroders CapitalRob Prescott has joined the manager’s UK real estate team as asset manager. Prescott joins the Manchester office from real estate consultancy OBI Property. As part of this newly-created role, Prescott will support the real estate team on assets across mandates operating in the region. 

ASK Partners – The real estate funding specialist has appointed Joshua Weinstein as head of institutional markets. Weinstein spent six years at Investec Bank working with large family offices, corporate and institutional clients arranging senior development and investment loans across residential, industrial, commercial and retail asset classes. Prior to Investec Weinstein worked at real estate capital advisory firm Ackman Ziff Real Estate Group, specialising in capital stack design and sourcing for real estate investors across the US.
