Denham Capital – Arturo Prieto has been appointed as managing director in the sustainable infrastructure credit platform, where he will oversee the origination, structuring, execution, and distribution of private debt financing across energy and infrastructure sectors. Prieto joins from Santander Corporate & Investment Banking, where he served as managing director and head of private debt mobilisation for the Americas, and previously held the role of head of infrastructure debt advisory for Latin America. With over 20 years of experience, he also spent several years within Santander’s North American project and acquisition finance team in New York. In his new role, he will support Denham Capital’s target of expanding its sustainable infrastructure credit platform and delivering flexible, innovative financing solutions to meet rising global demand for private capital.
Morgan Properties – Jennifer Ellis has been appointed head of investor relations to lead its investor relations function and serve as a key point of contact for its investment partners. Ellis joins from EQT Real Estate, where she held a senior investor relations role, and previously served as head of investor relations at CenterSquare Investment Management. With over 15 years of experience, she also held earlier positions at Aberdeen Asset Management and Morgan Stanley. In her new role, she will support Morgan Properties’ target of strengthening investor communications and enhancing the infrastructure supporting partner relationships, focusing on building a centralised investor relations function to support future platform growth.
Aurora Towers – Martin Pinnes has been appointed CEO to lead the Canadian tower platform’s growth trajectory. Pinnes joins from Shared Tower, where he served as COO, and previously held the role of VP of finance and corporate development at FlexNetworks. With deep operational and financial experience across telecom infrastructure and investment, he also spent several years at Canada Pension Plan Investment Board as a senior portfolio manager, where he focused on public equity investments in telecommunications and media across North America, Europe and Latin America. In his new role, he will support Aurora Towers’ target of expanding its presence across Canada’s wireless infrastructure landscape and maximising platform value. Pinnes succeeds Lawrence Gleason, who served as interim chief executive officer and executive chair, and will now transition to chair of the board of directors.
Centuri Holdings – Michael Christy has been appointed executive vice president, group development officer, where he will drive strategy execution, oversee groupwide sales and business development, and lead the company’s non-union electric businesses. Christy joins from Pike Enterprises, where he served as EVP of strategy and president of Pike Electric West, and previously held the role of CEO at Signal Energy. With over 25 years of experience, he also spent several years at Quanta Services unit InfraSource as EVP, as well as holding senior roles at Primoris Services Corporation and Dycom Industries. In his new role, he will support Centuri’s target of advancing its strategy, focusing on driving organic growth, identifying tuck-in acquisitions and maximising company-wide service capabilities.
MAPP – MAPP has appointed Colin Wilson as senior advisor to the London business to help further accelerate the evolution of its portfolio of clients across London. Wilson joins from Cushman & Wakefield, where he served as chief executive, EMEA, and previously held the role of Head of the UK & Ireland. In his new role, he will support MAPP’s target of identifying opportunities in London and expanding its Central London presence, focusing on delivering strategic insight and operational excellence to help drive the firm’s growth.
SWI Capital – Ido Shavit has been appointed as an independent non-executive director to support the firm’s ongoing strategy and governance framework. Shavit joins from Cycling Academy, where he served as CEO, overseeing the organisation since 2020 after joining in 2017. He previously held the role of owner and managing director at an Israeli tourism and event production company. At the same time, Jean-Pierre Verlaine has stepped down from the board and audit committee to provide a clearer separation between his firm, Engelwood Group and SWI Capital. Following Verlaine’s departure, existing board member Fernando Bolivar has been appointed to the audit committee. In his new role, Shavit will serve until the company’s next annual general meeting, where his appointment will be submitted to shareholders for re-election.
