Alberta Investment Management Corporation – Dan Teper has been appointed senior managing director, global head of real estate, where he will oversee strategy and investment activity for the firm’s global diversified real estate portfolio. Teper joins from Abu Dhabi Investment Council, where he served as head of global real estate activities, overseeing a portfolio across the Americas, Europe and Asia-Pacific, and previously held senior leadership roles on the real estate team at Brookfield Asset Management. With over 20 years of experience across sovereign wealth, public markets and private capital platforms, he has built and led investment teams across major global regions. In his new role, he will support AIMCo’s target of driving the global growth and strategic direction of its real estate platform.
Principal Asset Management – Drew Fung has been appointed managing director, portfolio management, where he will focus on commercial real estate debt investing, with an emphasis on high-yield and structured debt strategies. Fung joins from Clarion Partners, where he served as managing director and partner, leading the firm’s debt investment group. With over 35 years of experience in commercial real estate debt investing, lending and portfolio management, he has originated more than $3.5bn in mezzanine and structured debt investments across his career. In his new role, he will report to Chris Duey, senior managing director, partnering closely with the portfolio management team to support Principal Asset Management’s target of expanding its high-yield and structured debt platform across institutional client strategies.
Harrison Street Asset Management – Jon Glass has been appointed as managing director within the healthcare real estate asset management team, where he will help lead asset management activities across the firm’s senior housing investments, oversee strategy, and guide property-level business plans. Glass joins from PGIM Real Estate, where he served as executive director and head of senior housing asset management, leading the strategic direction for its senior housing portfolio over the past eight years. In his new role, Glass will support Harrison Street Asset Management’s target of expanding its healthcare real estate platform and driving value creation initiatives across its senior housing portfolio. Joining alongside Glass from PGIM Real Estate are senior associates Michael Corsini and Hardie Jackson.
Realterm – Catherine Lane has been appointed chief accounting officer, Europe, where she will lead European accounting and financial reporting across the firm’s fund, property, and management entities, and serve as primary accounting adviser to the European chief financial officer. Lane joins from EQT Real Estate, where she served as director of finance and reporting leading the European finance function across real estate logistics portfolios, and previously held the role of group financial controller at Logicor Group. With over two decades of accounting and financial expertise across European fund structures, she also spent time at APN and PwC London. In her new role, she will support Realterm’s target of strengthening its European platform as the firm scales its pan-European transportation logistics footprint.
CBRE Investment Management – Frank Aalbers has been appointed EMEA residential asset operations lead, where he will oversee operational strategy and performance across the firm’s residential portfolios to enhance resident experience, optimise asset performance, and support long-term value creation. Aalbers previously served within CBRE IM, where he led the residential asset management teams in the Benelux region. In his new role, he will support the firm’s target of expanding its residential platform across key European living sectors, focusing on strengthening operational consistency, sharing best practices across markets and delivering high-quality homes and outstanding service.
Savills Investment Management – Alex Griffiths has been appointed global head of client capital, where she will lead the firm’s global capital raising and investor relations activities while overseeing its client capital strategy across key international markets. Griffiths joins from AEW Europe, where she served as managing director and head of investor relations. In her new role, she will support Savills IM’s target of scaling its global business and deepening client relationships by delivering strategies across multiple real estate sectors, geography and the capital stack.
Tishman Speyer – Rahul Anand has been appointed managing director and regional director for India, where he will drive the company’s growth and diversification across the country. Anand joins from Bombay Realty, where he served as chief executive officer, and previously held the role of senior vice president at Brookfield Properties. In his new role, he will support Tishman Speyer’s target of expanding its global diversification strategy, focusing on developing sustainable office campuses, mixed-use assets and IT developments in India.
SBF – Mathilda Ingelgård has been appointed investment manager, where she will support the company’s ability to identify, analyse and execute new investments in the Swedish real estate market. Ingelgård joins from Colliers, where she worked in real estate transactions and previously held the role of analyst at Novier. In her new role, she will support SBF’s target of growing alongside a broader range of institutional investors, developing new investment strategies, and executing a greater number of increasingly complex transactions.
Industrial Logistics Properties Trust – Anthony Paula has been appointed chief financial officer and treasurer, where he will be responsible for accounting, corporate finance, capital markets transactions and SEC reporting. Paula joins from Diversified Healthcare Trust, where he served as vice president, and previously held the role of senior director of accounting at The RMR Group. In his new role, he will support Industrial Logistics Properties Trust’s target of optimising its financial structure, strengthening corporate compliance and driving long-term value for shareholders across its national industrial portfolio.
Edmond de Rothschild REIM – Niek van Genugten has been appointed fund manager to lead the firm’s new value-add strategy dedicated to European light industrial and logistics assets. van Genugten joins from Frasers Property Industrial, where he served as senior transaction manager, and previously held the role of investment manager at Syntrus Achmea Real Estate & Finance. In his new role, he will support Edmond de Rothschild REIM’s target of expanding its European light industrial and logistics platform, focusing on generating alpha through active asset management, expanding the firm’s reach across key European markets, and developing new investment initiatives to capture yield premiums over big-box logistics.
Advanced Power – Peter Podurgiel has been appointed president and board director, where he will lead day-to-day development, commercial, engineering, construction and asset management activities alongside chief executive Tom Spang. Podurgiel joins from Competitive Power Ventures, where he served as president of CPV Low Carbon Generation and executive vice-president of project development, commercialising over 11GW of power projects across his 25-year tenure. He previously held project development roles at US Generating Company, New England Development and The Pyramid Companies. In his new role, he will also serve as senior adviser to parent company ArcLight Capital Partners, supporting Advanced Power’s target of advancing its 15GW pipeline to deliver power infrastructure for utilities, hyperscalers and data centres.
APCOA – Sean O’Neill has been appointed chief product and technology officer, where he will lead the company’s product and technology agenda to grow its connected user base. O’Neill joins from Syncron, where he served as chief product and technology officer, and previously held senior technology roles at Amazon, Tesco and GfK. In his new role, he will support APCOA’s target of accelerating its technology journey and shaping the future of urban mobility by expanding its digital platform APCOA FLOW and developing connected mobility ecosystems.
Target Fund Managers – Calum Bruce has been appointed as head of investor relations to lead the investment manager’s investor relations function, with a particular focus on growing and broadening its capital partner base, including on behalf of Target Healthcare REIT. Bruce joins from Ediston, where he served as a director involved in the IPO, growth and sale of Ediston Property Investment Company, and previously held the role of portfolio manager at Standard Life Investments. In his new role, he will support Target Fund Managers’ target of scaling its footprint across both existing and new strategies, focusing on expanding the business’s capital partner base and driving the future shape and direction of the firm’s portfolio of healthcare real estate. James MacKenzie has been appointed to the newly created role of managing director to oversee the operations of the firm after joining thr firm in January 2025. MacKenzie joined from Aegon UK, where he served as general counsel and company secretary, overseeing major business change programmes including M&A. He previously held the role of partner at Pinsent Masons. In his new role, he will support Target Fund Managers’ target of scaling its portfolio of best-in-class healthcare real estate, focusing on managing day-to-day operations and supporting the leadership of the business alongside chief executive Kenneth MacKenzie.
Hyde Park Properties – Andria Solomon has been appointed operations director, where she will lead operational growth and manage tenant experience across the firm’s prime central London residential platform. Solomon joins from The Crown Estate, where she served as operations lead for residential market leasing and property management. In her new role, she will support Hyde Park Properties’ target of driving operational excellence as its portfolio transitions from refurbishment into occupation, expanding its footprint of super-prime single-family rental homes across central London.
Genova Property – Krister Karlsson has been appointed deputy chief executive officer, where he will oversee the development of the company’s property management and development divisions. Karlsson joins from Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden, where he served as chief operating officer, and previously held the role of head of planning and property development at Rikshem. In his new role, he will support Genova Property Group’s target of driving sustainable value growth, focusing on expanding its Swedish portfolio through active property management and urban development.
