FolksamDaniel Svedjevik has been appointed senior property analyst to support the Swedish pension and insurance group’s real estate strategy. Svedjevik joins from Castellum, where he served as head of valuation, and previously held the role of head of controller at Fastighets AB Förvaltningen and auditor at PwC. In his new role, he will support Folksam’s target of developing its property portfolio to create long-term returns for customers, focusing on growing its directly owned property assets across Stockholm, Gothenburg and Skåne.

ESRDalmar Sheikh has joined as data centre CEO. Based in Singapore, Sheikh will lead ESR’s data centre business in the next phase of growth. He will oversee the continued expansion of ESR’s digital infrastructure platform to meet increasing demand from hyperscalers and enterprise customers in Asia-Pacific. He brings more than 20 years of experience across data centres, digital infrastructure and technology. He joins from CtrlS Datacenters, where he served as chief operating fficer. Previously, he held senior leadership roles at DataSphere Advisory, Actis and Amazon Web Services.

Harrison Street Asset ManagementJane Bowes has been appointed managing director within the firm’s investor solutions group to lead investor relations and capital formation for its infrastructure strategies across Europe. Bowes joins from Threadmark, where she served as partner, and previously held the role of head of investor relations at EMF Capital Partners. In her new role, she will support Harrison Street Asset Management’s target of expanding its infrastructure platform and aligning its core-plus, closed-end and debt strategies with European institutional investor demand.

Schroder Real Estate Investment TrustPeter Lowe has been appointed fund manager to lead the company’s growth strategy following its proposed acquisition of Picton Property Income. Lowe joins from Schroders Capital, where he served as head of UK real estate investment, and previously held the role of REIT fund manager at Columbia Threadneedle Investments and fund manager at DTZ Investors. In his new role, he will support Schroder Real Estate Investment Trust’s target of delivering long-term risk-adjusted returns and expanding its diversified portfolio.

Mohr PartnersKam Schroeder has been appointed to the newly created role of president of brokerage to lead the firm’s national brokerage platform expansion. Schroeder joins Newmark, where he served as executive vice president and managing director of its East Bay brokerage operations, and previously held the role of senior vice president at Hughes Marino. With 20 years of corporate real estate experience, he also spent more than a decade at JLL and its predecessor, The Staubach Company, where he established a track record specialising in tenant representation, site selection and workplace strategy. In his new role, he will support Mohr Partners’ target of strengthening its national brokerage strategy across 24 US offices and expanding capacity in data centre and artificial intelligence sectors alongside core tenant representation.

FRP Real Estate AdvisoryRalph El Achkar has been appointed associate director to support the firm’s real estate investment finance advisory capability. El Achkar joins from Al Rayan Bank, where he served as senior real estate finance lead, and previously held the role of real estate manager at National Bank of Kuwait. In his new role, he will support FRP Real Estate Advisory’s target of delivering debt and investment advisory solutions across residential, office, hotel and student accommodation assets as market activity expands across the UK.

MomeniDaniel Reichwein has been appointed managing director to lead the firm’s development strategy across Southern Germany, London and Paris. Reichwein joins from Accumulata Real Estate Management, where he served as managing director, and previously held the role of managing director and head of the Frankfurt branch at Hines. In his new role, he will support Momeni Development’s target of expanding its development pipeline and delivering inner-city office and commercial projects across prime European markets.

FreightosYaron Eldad has been appointed as chief financial officer, effective 1 September 2026, where he will report to chief executive officer Pablo Pinillos. Eldad joins Evogene, where he served as chief financial officer, and previously held the role of chief financial officer at e-SIM. With more than 25 years of experience, he also co-founded Yamba Group, where he established a track record building and scaling an international business. In his new role, he will support Freightos’ target of driving execution, profitability, and scalable growth while translating digitalisation opportunities in global freight into sustainable financial performance.

Blank RomeTarek F Abdalla has been appointed as partner in the business litigation group, construction and infrastructure practice, and energy industry team, where he will co-chair the construction and infrastructure practice alongside Patrick D Harder. Abdalla joins Jones Day, where he served as partner. With extensive experience in construction and energy law, he also established a track record as an American Arbitration Association construction arbitrator representing clients in major international arbitration proceedings. In his new role, he will support Blank Rome’s target of expanding its national construction, infrastructure and energy platform across key markets including Pittsburgh and Houston.

AlidesAlexandre Huyghe has been appointed as CEO, effective 1 January 2027, succeeding Rikkert Leeman following his departure to Immobel. Huyghe joins Re-Vive, where he served as CEO, and previously held senior positions at Quares. With extensive real estate experience across Belgium and Poland, he also serves as a board member at Alides. In his new role, he will support Alides’ target of expanding its residential and office investment and development platform across Belgium, Luxembourg and Poland. Chief financial officer Henk Cardon will serve as CEO ad interim until Huyghe assumes the role. Separately, Alex De Witte has been appointed to the board of directors. De Witte serves as chief executive officer of Baltisse Real Estate, and previously held the role of CEO Benelux at Pylos.
