Columbia Property Trust – Adam Frazier has been appointed president and CEO of the company, effective 19 September. Frazier, who most recently served as head of New York - VP for Oxford Properties, will be responsible for leading Columbia’s long-term business strategy, capital allocation decisions, and oversight of day-to-day operations. Frazier spent nearly eight years at Oxford. Prior to Oxford, he spent nearly seven years in leadership positions at Boston Properties. Frazier succeeds Nelson Mills, who has served as Columbia’s CEO since 2012. Mills will remain employed by Columbia, transitioning to the position of non-executive chairman of Columbia’s board of directors. 

LaSalle Investment Management – Dan Mahoney is to succeed LaSalle’s newly appointed global head of research and strategy, Brian Klinksiek, as head of European research and strategy, effective 1 January 2023. He brings over 14 years’ experience as a strategist in the firm’s North America research and strategy team. During that time, he acted as the research and strategy team’s chief liaison for several clients and funds. In his new role, Mahoney will relocate to London and focus on further embedding and enhancing the use of proprietary, risk-adjusted frameworks and analytics to drive investment conviction across debt and equity strategies in Europe. As part of this restructuring, Petra Blazkova has been appointed to the newly created role of head of research and strategy, core and core-plus capital, Europe. Previously managing director within LaSalle’s European research and strategy team, Blazkova was responsible for overseeing Continental European market analysis from the London office. In her new capacity, she will relocate to Munich and work closely with David Ironside, fund manager of Encore+, and Uwe Rempis, fund manager of LaSalle E-REGI, as well as the firm’s separate accounts, supporting the funds’ ongoing strategies and development. Dominic Silman has been appointed as head of research and strategy, debt and value-add capital, Europe. Previously senior strategist within LaSalle’s European research and strategy team, Silman will continue to be based in the London office and will work directly with Michael Zerda, head of debt and value-add strategies, on the firm’s European debt strategies and recently reconstituted value-add platform.

Slate Asset Management – The real assets investment manager has appointed Jeff Rodgers as managing director, North American infrastructure. Rodgers will oversee origination and asset management for Slate’s infrastructure platform in North America, supporting the build-out of Slate’s cities and communities impact infrastructure strategy in Canada and the US. Prior to joining Slate, Rodgers was a managing director at DIF Capital Partners and a key member of the senior leadership team that led the successful build-out of DIF’s North American platform. Prior to DIF, Rodgers worked for prominent infrastructure development companies Plenary Group and Bilfinger Project Investments. Rodgers is being joined at Slate by Ryley Gartshore as VP, who was most recently director of investments at Core Development. Previously, Gartshore served as associate director at DIF, where he worked closely with Rodgers on the build out of DIF’s North American platform. Rodgers and Gartshore are joining Slate in August and September, respectively, and will be based in the firm’s Toronto office.

CBRE – The global real estate advisor has appointed Blake Hutcheson to the company’s board of directors. Hutcheson is president and CEO of the Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System. Prior to being named CEO in 2020, he served as OMERS’s president and chief pension officer, with responsibility for the pension business, strategy, communications and public affairs, legal, technology and operations, and asset liability management. Prior to that, he served as president, CEO and CIO of Oxford Properties Group, OMERS’s real estate investment arm. Earlier in his career, Hutcheson was head of global real estate at Mount Kellett Capital Management and chair and president of CBRE’s operations in Canada and Latin America. Hutcheson will stand for election at CBRE’s next annual stockholder Meeting in Spring 2023. Pedro Ribeiro as general manager of CBRE Saudi Arabia. Based in Riyadh, he will be responsible for the company’s Saudi Arabia operations, with a specific focus on leading the development of all service lines and supporting CBRE’s market growth in the Kingdom. Ribeiro joins from Knight Frank where he was partner in Saudi Arabia. Ribeiro brings over 27 years of experience in senior leadership positions in retail, real estate and asset and property management firms across the Middle East, Europe and North Africa delivering billion-dollar mixed-use projects and malls. 

Frasers Property – The SGX-listed property investor has a formed a new group corporate function, Frasers Property Capital, with the appointment of Wong Ping as its CIO. The newly formed Frasers Property Capital has a mandate to coordinate capital partnerships with like-minded investors keen to take part in the company’s growth, as it pursues investment opportunities aligned with its strategic objectives. Wong previously held senior leadership positions with CBRE Investment Management, and Allianz Real Estate Asia Pacific. In her new role based at the group’s headquarters in Singapore, Wong reports to group chief corporate officer, Chia Khong Shoong.

Coros – Mike Schreurs has joined the real estate manager as managing director and will be responsible for the company’s investment activities. The investment specialist joins from Patrizia. Schreurs started his career at Morgan Stanley. In this newly created role Schreurs is assuming overall responsibility for the company’s investment activities.

Avison YoungPrzemyslaw Klopocki has joined the firm’s technical advisory and project management team as ptoject manager. He is a construction engineer with more than seven years of experience in construction market, gained in Poland, the UK and most recently - Sweden. Before joining Avison Young, Klopocki worked at MD Insurance Services and Gülermak.

Evolve Estates – Adam Davies has been appointed asset manager at Evolve Estates. Davies joins the company from CBRE’s Central London property asset management team, where he managed a portfolio on behalf of pan-European and Hong Kong-based institutional clients. Before that, he spent more than five years at Workman, where he was responsible for a commercial property portfolio across London and the South East on behalf of UK-based pension funds. In his new role, from Evolve Estates’ Mayfair office, Davies will work across an array of complex town centre regeneration projects, where Evolve focuses on occupational cost reduction and increased leasing activity.
