KKR – Raj Agrawal has been named global head of real assets, which includes the firm’s real estate, infrastructure and energy businesses. Before that, he was global head of KKR’s infrastructure business. Agrawal is also a member of KKR’s global inclusion and diversity council. He joined KKR in 2006. Prior to joining KKR, he was a vice-president with Warburg Pincus. Agrawal’s previous experience also includes roles at Thayer Capital Partners and McKinsey & Company. Guy Metcalfe has been appointed senior adviser for global real estate. Metcalfe previously served as MD at Morgan Stanley and led its real estate investment banking business for over two decades before retiring as global chairman in 2024.
NEST – Matthew Forward has joined the UK workplace pension scheme as senior real estate investment manager. He joins from LaSalle Investment Management, where he was a portfolio manager and has worked at LaSalle since 2015. Forward’s earlier experience includes roles at UBS and M&G Investments.
New York Life Real Estate Investors – At the end of June, MD Thomas O’Hanlon will become head when senior MD Mark Talgo, current head, retires. O’Hanlon will continue to serve in his current capacity as head of real estate equity as well. O’Hanlon joined New York Life in 2004 as an acquisitions officer. In 2010, when New York Life’s General Account began investing in real estate equity, he helped build NYLREI’s portfolio management and transactions teams. Over the next decade, O’Hanlon held roles of increasing responsibility, including head of transactions. He became head of real estate equity in 2019. Talgo first joined New York Life in 1985 and has led New York Life Real Estate Investors for the past 22 years.
Clarion Partners Europe – Harald Evers has been appointed head of asset management. Evers held a number of senior roles at CBRE Investment Management, most recently leading the EMEA logistics property platform. His previous experience included six years at logistics specialist Gazeley, now GLP Europe.
CIM Group – Albert Yang has been appointed MD to lead business development and investor relations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, while Melannie Pyzik has been appointed MD to oversee business development and investor relations in the Asia-Pacific region. Yang will be based in London. Most recently, he served as head of investor relations for EMEA at Harrison Street, where he was a founding member of the firm’s European investment platform, a member of the investment committee. Previously, Yang was head of business development at Barings Real Estate Advisers and held senior positions in the real estate departments of JP Morgan Asset Management, Nuveen, Schroders and Deutsche Bank. Pyzik has been appointed MD to oversee business development and investor relations in the Asia-Pacific region. She will be based in Sydney. Before joining CIM Group, Pyzik was co-lead partner and head of the investor solutions team at Argo Infrastructure Partners, where she also served on the firm’s investment committee. Prior to that, Pyzik held senior roles at QIC in the infrastructure group and at Credit Suisse in the pensions coverage group. Pyzik started her career at Macquarie Group, where she spent almost a decade in the investment banking group, working across EMEA, North America and APAC on infrastructure funds and transactions.
Art Capital – The real estate credit advisory firm has appointed Martin Sheridan as its third partner, who joins founding partners Tim Vaughan and Stuart Blieschke. Sheridan was previously a managing director and part of a team that sourced and closed loans for the global real estate investment firm BGO’s UK & European credit business.
Peachtree Group – The commercial real estate investment firm has expanded its Delaware Statutory Trust platform to include investments in multifamily properties and has appointed Jordan Hylton as senior vice-president of multifamily acquisition to lead the firm’s DST multifamily investments. Hylton most recently served as senior director at New York Life Real Estate Investors. He began his career at PGIM Real Estate.
BNP Paribas Real Estate – Mark Roberts has been appointed to lead the firm’s enhanced capital markets team in Italy. Roberts joined BNP Paribas Real Estate in 2021 and has experience across several of the main real estate markets in Europe having worked in a variety of roles over the last twenty years in the UK, France and Italy. Prior to BNP, Roberts spent the previous seven years with Citigroup advising private wealth clients on their CRE investments via direct, fund and co-investment strategies.
LEM Capital – Steven DiLemme, who leads the accounting team and has been with the firm for 13 years, has been promoted to CFO. Aaron Seidman, a member of the acquisitions team, was promoted to associate.
Maslow Capital – Emma Burke has been promoted to MD of development finance origination for the UK and Europe. In her expanded role, Burke will lead Maslow’s development finance origination teams in the UK, Ireland, Spain, Portugal and Italy.
IMPACT Community Capital – Michael Lohmeier has been promoted to president. Lohmeier will continue to lead the firm’s investment strategy as CIO, while taking on the day-to-day operational management of IMPACT and its subsidiaries. Lohmeier joined the firm in 2017. As president, he will continue to lead efforts to expand IMPACT’s portfolio and innovate its approach to meeting the growing demand for quality affordable housing debt investments. Jeff Brenner will remain CEO, focusing on corporate strategy and long-term vision. He will collaborate with Lohmeier on capital raising and strategic initiatives to ensure sustained growth for IMPACT.
The LK Group – Nick Riding joins as a director. With two and a half decades of expertise in land-quality services, Riding brings a track record of success, having worked on numerous projects and dedicated the past 16 years to another well-known multidisciplinary consulting company. Matthew Bell has been recruited as an associate director for the flood risk and drainage department. With more than 18 years in flood-risk consultancy, Bell strengthens the existing team at a pivotal moment for sustainable water management in the UK. Will Fitzpatrick joins as remediation manager. His experience spans both residential and commercial markets working with clients ranging from housebuilders to blue-chip companies.
EDHEC Infrastructure & Private Assets Research Institute – Tim Whittaker is to succeed Frederic Blanc-Brude as director. Blanc-Brude, founding director of the institute in 2016, stepped down to focus on his role as CEO of EIPA’s sister organisation, Scientific Infra & Private Assets.
CBRE – Mindy Berman has joined as an EVP with the firm’s healthcare capital markets team. Prior to joining CBRE, she founded and led JLL’s healthcare capital markets practice, overseeing sales, finance and equity placement for various healthcare properties. Berman is an active member of the RevistaMed Advisory Board, the HREI Advisory Board, the ULI Healthcare and Life Sciences Council. Earlier in her career, she was a leader of multiple bank-based specialty finance groups focused on advising, structuring and arranging financing and leasing of capital assets for corporate clients.
Sustainable Development Capital – Andrew Symons has been appointed MD of capital formation and investor relations. Symons will be responsible for helping to shape product development and lead the strategic capital-raising initiatives for SDCL’s investment funds globally, focusing on building and strengthening the firm’s relationships with new and existing investors. He will also join the firm’s management committee, helping to drive the strategic direction of the firm. Symons was previously MD at General Atlantic, where he led fundraising and investor relations for BeyondNetZero. Prior to General Atlantic, Symons held senior investor relations positions at EQT and Summit Partners. He previously led and supported institutional capital-raising mandates for a diverse group of private fund manager clients at Campbell Lutyens and Eaton Partners.
Dealpath – Cindy Hustveit has been appointed VP of marketing. Hustveit will be responsible for the company’s global marketing strategy, team, and programmes and help drive efforts to accelerate growth, further strengthen customer engagement and expand Dealpath’s presence in the real estate investment ecosystem. She joins Dealpath from WorkMarket by ADP, where she was head of marketing. Prior to WorkMarket, Hustveit held leadership roles at Navatar, including director of marketing and then VP of marketing. Earlier in her career, she held managerial roles in the marketing divisions of companies such as American Express and started in debt investments at BlackRock Kelso Capital.
Watts Group – The UK property and construction specialist has hired Carl Pledger as national director of project management. Based in London, Pledger will lead the company’s project management team across its seven offices, as it seeks to expand. Pledger has previously worked for corporate design and construction consultancies in the UK and overseas, including 12 years in the UAE.
AIP Management – Team members Mads Lerche Holstein, Martin Vering Dalsager, Mikkel Barth-Højgaard and Daniel Noe Harboe have been named partners. Holstein has played a key role in leading high-impact projects and fostering a strong organisational culture. Dalsager has been a cornerstone of the firm’s growth over the past decade. Barth-Højgaard has overseen AIP’s finance, tax, valuation, risk and IT functions as CFO. Harboe has built and heads AIP’s tax function.
