IFM, ISPT, Endeavor Real Estate, JLL, CBRE, Commerz Real
IFM Investors – Chris Chapple has been appointed global head of real estate at IFM Investors following the completion of the merger of real estate asset manager, ISPT, and IFM Investors. Chapple, who has been ISPT’s chief executive since October, will sit on IFM’s global strategy team. Chapple brings 30 years of property industry experience to IFM Investors. He will integrate ISPT’s real estate capabilities with IFM Investors’ broad global reach and investment experience and leverage the combined capabilities of the enlarged company to grow its real estate business and to capitalise on anticipated improved market conditions for the real estate sector over the next 12 months. Prior to ISPT, he was CEO of Blackstone’s Australian real estate portfolio company, 151 Property, and has held various roles at Charter Hall, JLL and Multiplex.
Endeavor Real Estate – Andrew S Levy has joined the US firm as managing principal. Levy will be based in Dallas, where he will focus on office acquisitions for Endeavor throughout the Sunbelt Region. Before joining Endeavor, Levy spent the last twenty years as senior MD and co-head of the Dallas office of the JLL capital markets arm in the Americas, and HFF prior to its acquisition by JLL. Levy will be winding down affairs at JLL through the end of the year and will start his new role at Endeavor in January 2025.
Vanguard Renewables – Michael O’Laughlin has been appointed CEO. O’Laughlin brings 20 years of proven leadership in the clean energy, aerospace, defense, medical, automotive and industrial industries to the Vanguard Renewables team. He most recently served as Kymera International’s president of engineered materials.
CBRE – Kevin Wood has jpined as the head of CBRE’s Oxford office, effective 1 January 2025. Wood will replace Richard Venables, who will focus on broader business development opportunities, having successfully led the office since 2022. Wood joined CBRE’s Oxford office two years ago from Lambert Smith Hampton, where he was head of office and ran the agency team. He has since led on some of the business’s most significant transactions.
Commerz Real – Sebastian Flick has been appointed as global head of CFB Funds, structured finance and investments division of Commerzbank’s real assets subsidiary. Before joining Commerz Real, Flick worked for ARAG SE from 2012. There, he was ultimately promoted to departmental head alternative investments & real estate with responsibility for shareholdings in the infrastructure, real estate and private equity asset classes. Prior to this he worked for Talanx Asset Management, HSBC Trinkaus and the Cologne savings bank Kreissparkasse Köln. At Commerz Real he will be responsible for the management of a €7bn portfolio that encompasses ships, an airplane, as well as solar parks and wind farms.
