Allianz Global InvestorsMatthew Norman has been appointed head of the infrastructure debt team, succeeding Claus Fintzen, who is leaving the firm later this year. Norman joins from Credit Agricole CIB, where he most recently served as global head of infrastructure and global head of energy and infrastructure advisory. Based in London, he will report to Marta Perez, CIO of infrastructure. Fintzen, a founding member of the team who has led the international business since 2016, will remain with the firm until the end of June to ensure a transition of the €50bn private markets pillar.

Alecta Fastigheter - Maria Börtemark, business manager urban development at the real estate operation of Swedish pension fund Alecta, has now been promoted to the role of head of urban development, joining the management team of Alecta Fastigheter. Börtemark is taking over leadership of a business area previously led by CEO Lena Boberg. Before joining Alecta Fastigheter in May 2025, Börtemark was business development manager for urban development at Swedish real estate consultancy Svefa and has also been CEO of retirement housing developer Seniorgården and architecture and planning firm Strategic Architecture, according to Alecta.

CBRE – Anthony Sardo has joined the firm as senior vice president within the US healthcare capital markets debt and structured finance team. Based in Boston, Sardo will focus on expanding relationships with healthcare lenders and providing debt solutions for healthcare owners and developers. He joins from JLL, where he served as senior director of capital markets and a member of the National Healthcare Group since 2017. Paul Hubbard-Brown has been appointed head of occupier accounts for Europe. Hubbard-Brown, who has been with CBRE since 2009, will lead the newly created corporate outsourcing division to streamline client experience across the region. He previously led the firm’s occupier accounts business in APAC until 2023 before holding senior roles within the UK occupier team. In his new capacity, he will report to Anna Esteban, head of leasing and occupier accounts for Europe.

LaSalle Investment ManagementMatthew Sgrizzi has been appointed fund manager of LaSalle Encore+, effective 1 April 2026. Sgrizzi, who has spent 23 years with the firm, moves to the flagship European fund from LaSalle Securities, where he served as CIO and portfolio manager. He succeeds David Ironside, who will transition to chairman of LaSalle Encore+ following a handover period extending into 2027. Consequently, Paul Meierdierck has been promoted to CIO and portfolio manager of LaSalle Securities, while Chris Battista takes on the role of head of product and strategy for the division.

AncalaHeike Bergmann and Tore Land have been appointed as industry partners to the firm’s investment and operational team. Bergmann, who joins Ancala having held senior roles at Voith and Areva, currently sits on the board of portfolio company HS Orka. Land joins Ancala following a career at General Electric, Celanese, and BASF; he already serves as chair for portfolio businesses Fjord Base and Valentra. In their new roles, both will join the investment committee to advise on sourcing, due diligence, and asset management across the firm’s mid-market infrastructure portfolio.

RedevcoMeera Sanjee has been appointed director, real estate debt. Based in London, Sanjee will oversee loan portfolio management and support the growth of the firm’s lending and levered strategies across Europe. She joins from CBRE Investment Management, where she worked within its real estate debt business. Her 20-year career also includes senior roles at Santander, Lloyds Banking Group, and Bear Stearns. Her appointment is part of Redevco’s broader effort to expand its debt platform, providing transitional and development lending solutions.

Cushman & WakefieldWill Strong and Kyle Schmidt have been appointed co-chairs of the industrial advisory group, the firm’s institutional industrial capital markets platform in the US. The new leadership structure is part of a long-term succession plan intended to capitalise on improving market conditions through data-driven innovation and technology. Strong and Schmidt succeed Jim Carpenter, who will remain a senior leader within the industrial capital markets practice focusing on market share growth and client relationships. Antoine Brusselmans has been appointed head of Belgium & Luxembourg, effective 1 July 2026. Brusselmans, who has served as chairman of the region since 2021 and has been with Cushman & Wakefield since 1994, succeeds Marc-Antoine Buysschaert. In his new role, he will continue his client advisory work while overseeing regional operations. Buysschaert is stepping down after 15 years with the firm to launch a new real estate investment fund. Additionally, Vincent Vanderstraeten has been promoted to succeed Buysschaert as head of capital markets office.

Savills EarthTom Opperman has been appointed associate to strengthen the firm’s energy, infrastructure and renewables capabilities. Opperman joins from Verafind, where he was head of accounts, leading a team of land managers. In his new role, he will focus on the private wire solar farm sector, as well as wind, solar, and battery energy storage system projects. His remit includes site acquisition, stakeholder negotiation and lease structuring across the UK.

M&G Real EstateDavid Alcón has been named associate asset manager in Madrid, a newly created role designed to support M&G’s expansion in the Iberian market. Alcón, who previously interned with the firm and held a financial advisory role at Deloitte, will report to Federico Bros, director of investment and asset management for Iberia. He will support the management of a €1.2bn portfolio across logistics, living, retail and office assets, focusing on leasing, capex planning and sustainability initiatives.

ØrstedArul Gynasegaran has joined the board of directors as an employee-elected member. Gynasegaran, currently a senior project lead in engineering, replaces Leticia Mandiola, who has stepped down from the role. The transition was effective immediately as Gynasegaran was the first alternate for the position.

American Landmark Apartments – The multifamily owner-operator has appointed Andrew Yam as senior managing director and global head of capital markets and Jessica Wichser as senior executive portfolio manager. Based in New York, Yam joins from PXPillar Capital, having previously held roles at Lehman Brothers, Citi, and Phoenix Property Investors. Wichser joins the firm from Partners Group, where she was managing director of portfolio management and global head of asset management, following a tenure at Clarion Partners.

BVK – The €117bn German pension fund has appointed Andreas Steimel as interim head of real estate investment. Steimel joins from PIMCO Prime Real Estate, where he spent 16 years and most recently served as chief operating officer. He succeeds Norman Fackelmann, who departed in October, and Rainer Komenda, who left in July. In his new role, Steimel is tasked with leading a strategic review of BVK’s US real estate portfolio, which faces potential losses of up to €690m following previous investments made alongside Michael Shvo and Deutsche Finance.

Delin Property — The European logistics specialist has promoted Duncan Jarvis, Raffi Killian, Nick Martin and Isaac Núñez to partners, forming a new management committee to lead the firm’s return to balance-sheet investing. The leadership transition follows the departure of CEO Tom Wattles, who is stepping down to return to the US. The new committee will collaborate with the board on strategic direction while maintaining their existing departmental oversight: Jarvis continues as head of portfolio and asset management, Killian as head of investments, Martin as CFO and Núñez as head of Spain.

7RMartin Ohly has transitioned from Logicenters to become head of Germany for 7R, a logistics developer owned by Urban Partners. Ohly previously served as general manager and head of logistics at Logicenters and has held roles at Amazon Global Realty, JLL, and APLEONA. In this new role, he is tasked with leading 7R’s formal entry into the German market, focusing on the acquisition of standing assets, build-to-suit developments, and joint ventures with high ESG standards.

ASR Real Assets Investment PartnersAmilcar Grot has been appointed as senior portfolio manager, effective 1 March 2026. Grot joins the firm from Achmea Investment Management, having previously spent over a decade at Blue Sky Group in senior real assets roles. In his new position, he will focus on managing existing holdings and sourcing new real estate and infrastructure opportunities, with a specific emphasis on the North American market.

Newmark PolskaJoanna Andryszczyk has joined the firm as associate director in the office department. With 12 years of commercial property experience, she will focus on tenant representation, including relocations and lease renegotiations. Andryszczyk joins from CBRE, where she was a senior consultant, and previously held roles at BNP Paribas Real Estate. Her appointment is intended to strengthen the firm’s ability to optimise leasing costs and location strategies for office occupiers.

Proprium Capital Partners – The Legal & General-owned manager has taken over the real estate arm of BC Partners, absorbing its $1bn European portfolio and 17-strong team. Stéphane Theuriau, who led BC Partners Real Estate since its inception in 2018, joins Proprium Capital Partners as vice-chairman. He is joined by Laurian Douin and Thibault Lauprêtre, who have been appointed partners. Based in Paris and London, the team will continue to manage the existing value-add portfolio.

LS Estates — The London-based developer has appointed Jeffrey Chalmers as senior adviser to help scale its portfolio and broaden its international investor base. Chalmers joins from Oaktree Capital Management, where he was a managing director overseeing $1.7bn of equity activity. In his new role, he will advise on capital formation and structured debt solutions as the firm targets the delivery of a £1bn workspace pipeline over the next two years. He previously held positions at Garrison Investment Group and JP Morgan.

Cube RETom Morley has been appointed to the investment team to lead a new dedicated strategy focused on the acquisition, development, and asset management of UK roadside assets. Morley joins Cube RE from Mumbles Group, where he oversaw major development projects and portfolio sales to institutional investors. In his new role, he will manage site sourcing and investment alongside investment director Nic Lowry.

Knight FrankMatthew Rickman has joined the firm as a partner within its industrial & logistics team, focusing on lease advisory services. Rickman joins Knight Frank from Montagu Evans, where he spent the past decade, most recently specialising in rent reviews, renewals and regears. In his new role, he will work alongside agency head Charles Binks to expand the firm’s capacity to advise landlords and 3PL occupiers on optimising their warehousing footprints and income streams.
