Roland Holschuh, a Commerz Real board member responsible for real estate markets, is leaving the German fund manager next month as part of a board reorganisation.
Holschuh joined the parent company Commerzbank in 2009 and since 2012 has been responsible for Commerz Real’s global real estate asset management, development and strategic research.
Commerz Real said chief executive officer Andreas Muschter will also assume responsibility for the entire real estate management. This is in addition to his existing role as acquisition, product management for open-ended real estate funds, digital factory and digital sales.
The areas finance, fund accounting and fund taxes, for which he has shared responsibility to date, are being assumed by Dirk Schuster, who will function as chief financial officer and chief risk officer.
Muschter said the objective in the course of the transformation to a digital asset manager is to bundle competencies, tap synergies and make processes more efficient to a greater degree.
