Commerz Real has purchased a student residential complex in Seville for its Commerz Real Institutional Smart Living Europe Fund.
The One Sevilla student complex was completed in 2021 and comprises 249 beds in single and double rooms, each of which have their own bathroom and kitchenette. In addition, the residents have access to study areas, a fitness room, as well as recreation and leisure areas. These are complemented by a cafeteria and outdoor areas with a terrace and pool.

One Sevilla was sold by a private individual who declined to be named. Financial details were not disclosed.
Kerstin Struckmann, global head of product management professional clients at Commerz Real, said: “The purchase is part of the current optimisation of our fund portfolio.
“In the course of this optimisation Commerz Real had acquired the Swuite residential complex in Dublin in November 2025 and sold the Pallars complex in Barcelona in January 2026. In addition to the properties in Dublin and Sevilla, the portfolio encompasses two other complexes in Vienna and Frankfurt am Main.”
She added that Seville is an attractive market for investments in student apartments “with latent excess demand”.
