NETHERLANDS - ABP real estate securities analyst Jorit Arissen is leaving the Dutch pension fund after just over a year to join fund manager F&C.

Arissen will join the firm in Amsterdam next month in the newly-created role of portfolio manager for European property equities.

He joins a team that has expanded from two to five fund managers since 2006 and now includes three specialist portfolio managers.

In addition to Arissen, team head Dirk Molenaar deals with North American property and F&C insider Peter Meulepas deals with Asia—Pacific, including Japanese, equities. This will be the first time the fund manager has employed a dedicated Asia specialist.

In a separate development, Morgan Stanley's Dawn Prideaux de Lacy will join ING Real Estate Investment Management as chief operations officer at the end of October. Based in The Hague, she will be responsible for the business across more than 20 markets.
