Elisabeth Troni, the former head of EMEA research and insight for Cushman & Wakefield, has joined CBRE Global Investors to lead the real assets manager’s global portfolio strategy.

CBRE GI said Troni will work across CBRE GI’s $107bn (€94.5bn) real assets investment platform globally – including with its Direct real estate teams, CBRE Global Investment Partners, CBRE Caledon infrastructure and CBRE Clarion listed real assets – to provide holistic real assets solutions tailored to investors’ specific needs and objectives.

Jeremy Plummer, global CIO, CBRE Global Investors, said: “Investors globally continue to expand their portfolios with a broad range of real estate and infrastructure investment opportunities and formats, including equity and debt, listed and unlisted, and direct and indirect strategies delivered through separate accounts and commingled funds.

“Troni will coordinate closely with our research, investment strategy and execution, and client engagement teams to help investors determine the right mix and implementation of strategies to meet their objectives.”

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield in June 2016, Troni spent 2 years at Aberdeen Asset Management as a global portfolio strategist and before that was at UBS Global Asset Management, advising investors on the role of real estate and alternatives in a multi-asset context.
