Urban Land Institute - Joe Montgomery has joined ULI as its new chief executive for Europe. He joins from the UK government's Department for Communities and Local Government, where he was director general.
CB Richard Ellis - Asieh Mansour has been made head of Americas research and senior managing director of global research and consulting. She was most recently managing director and head of Americas research for RREEF.
Oaktree Capital Management - The US private equity firm has secured outgoing Segro chief executive Ian Coull as a senior adviser for its new European real estate team.
Aberdeen Asset Management - Andrew Allen has joined from Oriel Securities as director of global property research.
AXA Real Estate Investment Managers - Pascal Aujoux has been appointed head of property services group for Southern Europe following the retirement of Eric Stampfli. Reporting to Anne Kavanagh, global head of property services group, Pascal will assume managerial responsibility for Southern Europe, including France, Spain, Portugal and Italy. He was previously head of property services group for France.
Schroder Property - Nick Scott has joined from NewRiver Retail to head up retail transactions and asset management for the Schroder Exempt Property Unit Trust.
Valad - Thomas Gurski has been hired as a senior asset manager in Germany. Gurski will lead the Region West team with responsibility for managing Valad's existing real estate portfolio in the Ruhr and Frankfurt areas. He will be based in Dusseldorf in a new office, to be opened soon. Gurski joins after three years at Hochtief Property Management, where he was head of asset management services.
Helaba - The German lender has boosted its French real estate team with the appointment of Rémy Boet as senior director of origination. Boet has 10 years' experience with French and German banks, including Calyon and pbb Deutsche Pfandbriefbank.
Lathe Investments - Martin Barber, the former chief executive of Capital & Regional, has joined the shopping centre fund manager as an equity partner.
GRR Real Estate Management - The German retail asset and property manager has appointed Oliver Groß as commercial director based in Erlangen. Groß was most recently in charge of fund accounting at the real estate investment and sales company of Berliner Immobilien Holding (BIH).
O Twelve Estates - Mark Donnor and Benjamin Warner have been appointed non-executive directors. Donnor is a managing principal of Westbrook, while Warner is managing director of the European Group.
