GLOBAL - BlackRock, Land Securities, Savills, Jones Lang LaSalle, Real IS, Alvarez & Marsal

BlackRock - Jack Chandler, chief executive of LaSalle Investment Management's Asia-Pacific business, is leaving to BlackRock as global head of real estate. Chandler will take over from senior managing director Paul Audet, who took temporary charge, and will report to Matthew Botein, head of BlackRock Alternative Investors.

Land Securities - Marc Geddes has left Savills to join the London investment management team at the UK real estate investment trust (REIT). Geddes has worked as part of the central London and international investment team at Savills for more than 13 years and will take up the role of investment management director at Land Securities. The company has also recruited Sanjay Bremakumar from Knight Frank and Jason Wade from Brookfield as investment managers. Tom Elliott, previously investment manager, has also been promoted to investment management director.

Savills - Karim Olivier Lacheheb has joined from AEW Europe as director in Savill's retail team in France. Serge Vayer joins the French office agency from BNP Paribas Real Estate. Christophe de Cambourg and Grégoire Lembo also join the office agency in France as consultants. They arrive from Cushman & Wakefield and Lloyds TSB International Private Banking, respectively.

Jones Lang LaSalle - Robert Stassen and Andrew Burrell have joined as directors in JLL's Europe, Middle East and Africa research team. Stassen arrives from Credit Suisse, where he was head of capital markets research, while  Burrell arrives from King Sturge, where he was head of forecasting.

Real IS - Frank Teupe has taken over from Markus Brucker as head of real estate acquisitions at the German fund manager. Teupe moves back into an acquisitions role after working more recently in asset management. Brucker left after 10 years at the company to establish his own business.

Alvarez & Marsal - John Heywood has joined as a managing director and will help push expansion into the Asia Pacific region. Heywood has more than 20 years of operating and consulting experience in the real estate and construction industries in the US, Asia, Australia, the UK and Canada.
