Henley – Justin Meissel has been named COO. Meissel joins from Blackstone, where he sourced and executed pan-European investment deals. He has also held roles at GI Partners, Warburg Pincus and JP Morgan.

Cording Real Estate Group – Martin Schmidt has been promoted to head the firm’s Berlin office, having previously been responsible for asset and property management. He has worked as a finance broker for Interhyp in Munich and Main Asset Management. Seraphine Leonhard will take over Schmidt’s former property management responsibilities in Berlin. She worked for the ACREST Property Group and STRABAG in Berlin. Tamara Neururer will join the asset and property management team in Stuttgart. Prior to joining Cording, she worked at SÜDEWO, JLL, GC Capital Real Estate and Benecke-Kaliko. Markus Bastian has joined the firm’s Düsseldorf office. Prior to joining Cording, he was a property manager at Vereinigte Postversicherung.  

AMP Capital – Adam Heath has been appointed vice-president in the firm’s infrastructure debt team in New York. Heath, who joined on 6 September, is primarily responsible for the origination and execution of infrastructure debt investments in North America. Prior to joining, he was an associate director of finance at Caithness Energy, a private investment company focused on acquiring and developing assets in the North American power sector. Heath has held other positions at RBC Capital Markets and WestLB.

M7 Real EstateJohn Murnaghan has joined the board of directors and will take on the role of head of UK business. Murnaghan has been with M7 as head of UK asset management since 2014. Prior to joining M7, he worked for UBS Global Asset Management. Before then, he worked at Land Securities Trillium as senior asset manager.

PGGM Investments – Frank Roeters van Lennep has been appointed CIO for private markets, succeeding Ruulke Bagijn, who left PGGM in May for a position at AXA Investment Managers. Van Lennep has served as PGGM’s head of infrastructure investments since 2014. Before joining PGGM, he was a partner at KPMG Corporate Finance, responsible for debt advisory and infrastructure activities. He has also worked at NIBC and ABP Investment.

Savills – The firm has opened an office in Luxembourg managed by Régis Luttmann. Jonathan Morand and Thomas Winckel also join as account managers and will specialise in the office leasing and industrial and retail leasing markets, respectively. Sophie Leblon joins as marketing and communications executive.
