EPRA – Philip Charls is stepping down after 10 years as EPRA chief executive. Dominique Moerenhout, chief executive at BNP Paribas Real Estate Investment Management in Luxembourg and Belgium, will take over from Charls in March next year. Moerenhout, a Belgian national, returned to Luxembourg in 2014 after two and a half years as COO at BNP Paribas Real Estate UK. He was previously COO at Fortis Private Real Estate’s international operations in Luxembourg from 2004.
HB Reavis – George Leslie has been named head of investment management. Leslie was formerly head of CEE at GLL. He has also worked for KPMG.
Engel & Völkers Investment Consulting – Andreas Ewald has been appointed as managing director. He will run the company with managing partner Kai Wolfram. Ewald will focus on transaction advisory and due diligence, as well as non-performing loans. He previously managed the Hamburg office of Ernst & Young Real Estate.
CBRE Capital Advisors – Andrea Pittaluga, formerly a director at Lloyds Banking Group, has joined as a senior director in European debt and structured finance. He has worked for Ernst & Young and Standard & Poor’s.
Grosvenor Europe – Patricia Abril has been appointed as a non-executive director. Abril previously worked for McDonald’s in Spain. She has also worked for Kodak and Unilever Spain.
