Employees Retirement System (ERS) of Texas has approved three new infrastructure commitments totalling $71.6m (€70.1m).

The pension fund said it has placed $50m into the Tallvine Middle Market Infrastructure Fund I, a fund managed by Tallvine Partners and approved $21.6m into two co-investment strategies.

The Tallvine Partners fund will invest in mid-market US infrastructure assets with value-add opportunities. Tallvine Partners did not respond to a request for comment.

Tallvine Partners, according to industry sources, focuses on diverse infrastructure sectors such as roads, bridges, cell towers and water.

ERS of Texas did not disclose any additional information regarding its co-investment strategies.
