The State of Michigan Retirement System made $425m (€412m) worth of real estate and infrastructure commitments during the second quarter of the year, according to the pension fund’s meeting document.
State of Michigan made a $50m commitment to Warwick UK Real Estate Fund I, a core-plus UK residential fund managed by Warwick Investment. Warwick did not respond to a request for comment.
The pension fund also placed $200m into Blackstone Real Estate Partners X during the second quarter of 2022 as part of the real estate investments made during the period.
The infrastructure investments made during the second quarter of the year include placing $100m into ASF VIII Infrastructure Fund B, a fund which targets assets in Europe and North America via secondaries or co-investments.
State of Michigan made a $75m commitment to the Ridgewood Water & Strategic Infrastructure II, a fund which targets mid-market size infrastructure assets in the US.
