Global independent solar power producer (IPP) Sonnedix has acquired an 8.3MW solar portfolio in France from Hanau Investissements.
Sonnedix said it has bought the three ground-mounted photovoltaic plants located in the South-East of France, without disclosing any financial details.
The acquisition lifts the Sonnedix France portfolio to a capacity of 260MWp, making it the fifth-largest solar IPP in the country.
Axel Thiemann, CEO of Sonnedix, said: “Our longstanding relationship with companies like Hanau Investissements allowed us to enter into a trustful partnership that led to this transaction.
“Thanks to agreements like this, we are capable to continue to grow sustainably to deliver on our long-term commitment to the French market.”
