Cabot Properties – Bradford Otis has been appointed to the newly created chief operating officer role, where he will be responsible for overseeing and optimising internal functions globally across finance, information technology and human resources. Michael Gebo has been promoted to head of asset management and will oversee leasing, tenant relations and property management in the US. Otis has played an integral role in Cabot’s evolution during his 16-year tenure at the company. He previously served as MD and head of asset management for Cabot, and remains a key member of the company’s board of directors and investment committee. Prior to joining Cabot, Otis worked at Eaton Vance Management in the real estate investment group. Gebo has been a key leader at Cabot since 2015, having built extensive expertise managing institutional-quality industrial assets across the firm’s value-add and core investment strategies. During his tenure, he has overseen leasing and asset management operations in major markets including Southern California, Dallas, and Chicago and served as portfolio manager for a 7m sqft core separate account. Prior to joining Cabot, Gebo managed industrial assets for GLP’s Southern California portfolio.
Trinity Investments – JoAnne Halligan has been appointed CFO. Halligan will oversee Trinity’s finance, accounting, and treasury functions and work closely with the firm’s leadership team to support strategic initiatives across its global platform. Halligan succeeds Kevin Hayashi, who has retired after more than twenty-eight years of service to Trinity. Halligan brings more than two decades of experience in accounting, finance, and fund operations. She joins Trinity from Oaktree Capital Management, where she served as MD of real estate fund accounting and led finance, accounting, and operations for Oaktree’s real estate platform. She has also held other senior finance roles at Oaktree. Halligan began her career in public accounting with KPMG.
Future Growth Capital – Max Gilbert has been appointed infrastructure director. Gilbert brings eight years’ experience in the infrastructure debt market, having originated and executed transactions across a broad range of sectors including renewable energy, transmission and social housing. He joins from Gravis Capital Management where he was an investment director. In this newly created role, Gilbert will be responsible for originating and executing infrastructure deals in line with the risk and return profile of the firm’s multi-private asset UK strategy.
Savills – Max Graziani has been appointed associate and Mason Hunt as a senior surveyor within the firm’s self-storage team. Both will be based at the firm’s Margaret Street head office in London, in the operational capital markets division. Graziani joins from Levy Real Estate, where he worked in the self-storage capital markets team. He previously spent over five years at JLL. Hunt also joins from JLL, where he was part of the self-storage valuation team for three years. At Savills, Graziani will focus on capital markets, while Hunt will specialise in valuing self-storage assets across the UK and Europe. Their sector-specific experience will further enhance the team’s capabilities and comprehensive service provision to clients. William Davies as co-head of PBSA valuations. He will focus on student accommodation valuations within Savills operational capital markets division. Davies joins Savills from Allsop, where he spent over 15 years specialising in valuations across the residential and student housing sectors. In his new role, Davies will co-lead the PBSA valuation team, building on the strong foundations established by Rachel Coates, the existing co-head of the team.
CareTrust REIT – Greg Stapley has been appointed to the company’s board of directors. Stapley brings a distinguished record of leadership and deep institutional knowledge of the healthcare real estate sector, having previously served as CareTrust’s president and CEO from the company’s inception in 2014 to 2022. Prior to his tenure at the helm of CareTrust, Stapley was a co-founder of The Ensign Group, serving as its general counsel and later as EVP until leading the spin-off of CareTrust from Ensign. Before Ensign, Stapley was a partner at a law firm, where his practice focused on real estate, business transactions, and government relations.
Newmark Group – The commercial real estate advisor and service provider has expanded its property and facilities management businesses into India, hiring Sathish Rajendren, as executive managing director to head the operations across India and APAC. Based in Bangalore, Rajendren will be responsible for ensuring consistent property and facilities management solutions for owners and occupiers in the region. Rajendren brings a track record of transforming organisations and driving growth across diverse sectors, including occupiers, developers, investors and government entities. In his prior role at Knight Frank, where he served as senior executive director, he was instrumental in scaling operations tenfold and elevating the firm’s market position, overseeing a portfolio exceeding 350m sqft across India. Earlier in his career, he managed an additional 140m sqft while leading property services at Cushman & Wakefield.
