Ohio Police & Fire Pension Fund is planning to invest up to $565m (€518.4m) in real estate and infrastructure funds in 2023.

The pension fund said it intends to place between $140m and $215m into non-core real estate funds. No capital has been earmarked for core real estate.

Ohio Police & Fire said it plans to make between $250m and $350m of investments within its real assets portfolio by placing capital into infrastructure funds. The pension fund intends to put between $100m to $200m in closed-end funds and the remaining $150m into open-end funds.

The pension fund currently has no plan to issue any commitments for agriculture or timber investments within the real assets portfolio.
