New York State Common Retirement Fund (NYSCRF) has expanded its relationship with DigitalBridge Partners by making a $50m (€46.5m) commitment to a DigitalBridge co-investment vehicle.

The pension fund said it has placed the capital into the co-investment sidecar fund to invest alongside the DigitalBridge Partners III fund. 

As previously reported, NYSCRF approved a $275m commitment directly into DigitalBridge Partners III.

The fund manager DigitalBridge is known as a global investor in digital infrastructure, with targeted sectors including data centres, fibre, macro cell towers, edge infrastructure and small cell towers.
