Internos Spezialfondsgesellschaft has added a nursing home in Germany to its Care Invest I special fund.
Internos said it bought The Wohlbehagen am Schlossberg nursing home located on Kaiserstrasse 19-21 in Hagen-Hohenlimburg, North Rhine-Westphalia, from FFB Projektentwicklung.
No financial details were disclosed.
The property has a total lettable area of 4,700sqm of which 4,250sqm is allocated to 80 single rooms and 450sqm to ten apartments providing sheltered housing.
The property is let for 24 years.
Paul H. Muno, the head of Internos in Germany, said: “We are pleased to have added another property, let to a well-established regional operator, to the Care Invest I portfolio.
“We believe there is significant potential to promote the nursing home further in the Hohenlimburg district and to significantly improve its range of care services.”
In January Internos also acquired 75 sheltered housing units in Germany for its Care Invest I special fund.
In February, the asset manager created a second open-end healthcare property fund, known as Care Invest II, to acquire assets in Germany.
