Fiera Capital Corporation has appointed Wenzel Hoberg to head its C$7.8bn (€5.4bn) global real estate arm.
The asset manager said Hoberg will lead the growth of Fiera Real Estate’s Canadian and UK platforms in key markets, with a focus on bringing strategies to investors and efficiently allocating capital.
Wenzel will support the firm’s capital-raising efforts and partnership development.
Wenzel previously held the roles of president of Barnhart Capital and CEO of Triuva. He also spent close to a decade at CPP Investments, where he took on the roles of international real estate investments VP and of managing director of Europe real estate investments. Wenzel started his career in the corporate finance practice of PwC.
