Aggreko Energy Transition Solutions (ETS) is acquiring US-based commercial and industrial solar company Infiniti Energy from Upper Bay Infrastructure Partners for an unspecified amount.
Aggreko ETS builds, owns, and runs large-scale and localised solar power plants with battery storage throughout the US. The acquisition of Infiniti Energy, adds 12MW of operational solar facilities under contract, along with another 22MW of construction-ready solar projects, and a pipeline of future projects.
Aggreko ETS said the deal expands its presence in several East Coast markets and strengthens its internal expertise in areas like creating power purchase agreements and managing turnkey.
