GLOBAL – CBRE Global Investors, Nordic Real Estate Partners, AEW Europe
CBRE Global Investors – John Mulqueen has been appointed to the role of senior director/head of value add at CBRE Global Investors in the UK. He will focus on originating value add investment opportunities, as well as overseeing the execution of various business plans in the UK. Mulqueen comes to CBRE Global Investors after 10 years at Hammerson, where he was most recently responsible for the central London office portfolio.
Nordic Real Estate Partners (NREP) – Marianne Hoffman is taking on the role of asset manager in Sweden at Nordic Real Estate Partners. She comes to the firm from Steen & Ström, where she was leasing manager. Hoffman will be in charge of asset management within the retail segment in Sweden. Michael Hegnet has been appointed commercial analyst at NREP subsidiary Pelican SelfStorage, coming to the company from a position as business controller at Falck TravelCare. Sebastian Vallgårda has been hired as analyst at NREP as of April, having worked previously at Savills, focusing on property valuations, transaction advice and market research. Mathias Eller has been appointed as an analyst in NREP's Danish office. He was previously at Marlborough Partners in the UK, working in the leveraged debt advisory section. Nicole Hyltefors and Nina Hulgaard have been hired to work in group support in Sweden and Denmark, respectively. Hyltefors comes from Svenska Kunskapsförlaget, where she was sales manager and COO.
AEW Europe – Jérémy Convert has been appointed as a director in AEW Europe's investment team. He will be based in Paris and report to co-head of investments Laurent Babelon. Convert was head of investment banking for the real estate sector at the Crédit Suisse group before, covering France and Benelux.
