Pramerica Real Estate InvestorsFrank Garcia has been named managing director and portfolio manager for PREI's core open-ended real estate strategy. Garcia joins three other portfolio managers on the team and will report to senior portfolio manager Cathy Marcus. He will be based in the company's San Francisco office and joins from RREEF, with time previously spent at Spieker Properties and CB Commercial.

BlackRockGeoffrey Shaw joins from Aviva Investors as portfolio manager for the company's UK Long Lease Property Fund. At Aviva, Shaw was assistant fund manager for the Lime Property Fund and previously worked at Cushman & Wakefield.

CBRE Global InvestorsAlice Wilcox and Weijia Wang have both joined the global multi-manager team. Wilcox joins investor services and previously worked at Schroder Investment Management. Wang spent the last five years in the research strategy team at M&G Real Estate.

GSW ImmobilienJörg Schwagenscheidt and Andreas Segel have been named co-chief executives of the company, following shareholder discontent led by Dutch pension provider PGGM that led to the departure of former management. Segal was formerly the firm's CFO, while Schwagenscheidt was COO.

Lombard OdierFred Horsey joins as co-COO and general council for Asia-Pacific, while Christophe Morel, part of the company's internal audit unit in Geneva, will move to become chief risk officer for the region. Both based in Hong Kong, Horsey has previously held similar roles at Barclays Global Investors and Janus Capital and spent time at JP Morgan Asset Management in Asia as its head of product development. Morel, meanwhile, has been with the company since 2000 and will leave his position as senior vice-president of the audit department.

ParkPoint PropertiesPatrick Rebel has been named asset manager, joining the company's French team. He joins from Constructa Asset Management and has previously worked at Deka Immobilien, Foncière Europe Logistique and BNP Paribas.

Patrizia ImmobilienAlasdair Findlay-Shirras has joined the company's client relations team, jointly charged with caring for the company's growing international client base. He joins from FIRSTavenue, where he was head of the company's real estate division and has also worked at Citigroup Property Investors and Henderson Global Investors.

Union Investment Real EstateBent Muehlena has been named head of the real estate project management department, replacing Bernd Schade. Muehlena, who has been with Union since 1999, will oversee all aspects of technical due diligence on the firm's new acquisitions, as well as oversee a team of 30 charged with new construction.
