GLOBAL - M&G Investments/MGPA, San Francisco City and County Employees, Prudential, John Lang, Pramerica, Bridges Ventures, SWIP, Colliers, Redevco, Collineo

M&G Investments/MGPA - Alex Jeffrey has been appointed as the new chief executive of PRUPIM, the firm's real estate fund management business. Jeffrey, who will start in his new role in July 2012, will report to Michael McLintock, M&G's chief executive. Jeffrey joins from MGPA, where he was most recently global chief investment officer based in Singapore. At MGPA, Jeffery's duties will be split between Tom Lee, who will move from being group chief financial officer to group chief operating officer, and Simon Treacy, who will have responsibility for capital markets. Neil Jones, current group chief investment officer, will take on a newly formed role as head of group business development. In addition, Brett Straatemeier, Asia chief operating officer, is returning to Australia in July.

San Francisco City and County Employees' Retirement System - Lindsey Adams has been named senior portfolio manager for real estate for the pension fund, filling a post that has been vacant for nearly two years. Adams has held the position of securities analyst for the pension plan in its real estate investment department since 2009. Her duties as a securities analyst included suggesting and researching potential new investments for real estate.

Prudential Real Estate Investors - The firm will see global chief operating office Dale Taysom retire at the end of 2012. Eric Adler will succeed Taysom and work closely with him throughout 2012 while retaining his current role as head of PREI's European business, Pramerica Real Estate Investors. In his European role, Adler will be assisted by a newly formed European executive committee consisting of Andrew Radkiewicz, Jan-Baldem Mennicken, Phil Barrett, Gerhard Wittl and Raimondo Amabile. George von Werz's responsibility for the non-European activities of Pramerica AG, PREI's Munich-based business, remains unchanged.

Jones Lang LaSalle - Yoichiro Hamaoka, who has been managing director at Jones Lang LaSalle in Japan for 12 years, will be stepping down and taking on the role of chairman. He will be replaced by Toshinobu Kasai, who was previously head of Goldman Sachs Real Estate Principal Investment Area in Japan. Kasai joined Goldman Sachs in 1999, spending 11 years at the company. He was promoted to partner in 2004.

Pramerica Real Estate Investors - The firm has appointed Raimondo Amabile as a managing director and new member of its European executive committee. Prior to joining Pramerica, Amabile was managing director and head of European business development at Tishman Speyer.

Bridges Ventures - Simon Ringer, head of property funds, has been promoted to the board, while Anne-Marie Harris, Alistair Tillen and Garret Turley have also been promoted to partner. Ringer's promotion to the board is in recognition of his work in building Bridges' two property funds. The three other promotions to partner level recognise each individual's contribution to the success of Bridges' Sustainable Growth Funds.

Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (SWIP) - The firm has appointed Geoff Hepburn as investment manager and promoted six people within the team. Hepburn joined SWIP in January from Hartwell, a privately owned property company based in the UK. Ross Braithwaite, Paul Findlay, Veronica Gallo-Alvarez, Kerri Hunter, James McLean and Nick Smith have been promoted from investment managers to investment directors.

Colliers International - Craig Satchwell has been appointed to head up the London Office Agency team. Satchwell, currently head of Colliers' EMEA offices business team in Birmingham, will continue to work with Colliers' EMEA and central London investment teams. The firm has also appointed Richard Divall as a director in Dominic Amey's West End Investment team. Divall, who joins from Strutt & Parker, will start on 13 February.

Redevco - Israel Casanova has been appointed country manager for Redevco Spain and Portugal. Casanova succeeds Javier Hortelano, who was recently appointed chief operating officer. Casanova started working for Redevco in 2005 as portfolio manager.

Collineo Corporate Finance - Thomas Wirtz has joined the company as managing director in Frankfurt/Main. Before joining Collineo, Wirtz headed the real estate investment banking division at Silvia Quandt & Cie.
