GLOBAL - The Crown Estate, Kames Capital, JP Morgan Asset Management, Savills Sweden, Universal Investment, Jones Lang LaSalle, Grainger

The Crown Estate - Alison Nimmo is set to take over as chief executive from 1 January 2012, succeeding Roger Bright, who will step down at year-end. Nimmo is currently director of design and regeneration at the Olympic Delivery Authority, where she has worked for the last five years. She also served as chief executive of Sheffield One, a city centre regeneration programme for Sheffield, and project director of Manchester Millennium, responsible for the regeneration of Manchester city centre following the terrorist bombing in 1996. 
 
Kames Capital - Mark Bunney, Matt Day and Tony Yu join Kames from the ING REIM UK team responsible for more than £2bn (€2.3bn) in assets - including the Osiris Property fund, one of the biggest real estate fund of funds in the UK, and a number of other institutional mandates. The trio will join the existing property fund management team at Kames - rebranded from AEGON Asset Management last month - headed by Phil Clark.

JP Morgan Asset Management - Albert Yang has joined as head of European client strategy for real estate. Before joining, Yang served as director of Henderson Global Investors' institutional real estate business. Before then, he held positions at Schroder Property Investment Management and Deutsche Asset Management. Based in London, he will report to Michael O'Brien, global head of client relations and strategy.

Savills Sweden - Petter Klingofström has joined as head the Swedish leasing team in the Stockholm office. Before joining, Klingofström was a senior manager at Tenant & Partner and before then worked with tenant-related businesses at Thulefastigheter and CB Richard Ellis. With more than 14 years' real estate experience, he will develop the firm's leasing department in the local market and broaden its Swedish and international client base. 

Universal Investment - Marcos Joos has taken on responsibility for the newly established real estate portfolio management division at Germany-based Universal. Before joining, Joos was in charge of portfolio management for the institutional real estate funds of Commerz Real. Before then, he worked for the consulting divisions of KPMG and Ernst & Young.

Jones Lang LaSalle - Tina Yi has been hired to head up JLL's new China residential property desk. Previously based in JLL's Beijing office and experienced in the Chinese residential market, Yi will be responsible for promoting London as a prime residential destination to the company's nine offices in China.

Grainger - Tony Wray has joined the board of the UK's largest quoted residential property owner as a non-executive director. He has served as chief executive at water company Severn Trent Plc since 2007, and before then worked in senior management at British Gas and Transco.
