GLOBAL - The Crown Estate, Cushman & Wakefield, PRUPIM, Rockspring Property Investment Managers, CBRE, Royal London Asset Management
 
The Crown Estate - Ian Marcus has been appointed as a non-executive member of The Crown Estate main board with effect from 1 January 2012. Marcus is currently chairman of European real estate investment banking at Credit Suisse. He is also chairman of the Bank of England Commercial Property Forum and The Prince's Regeneration Trust. His previous roles have included the presidency of the British Property Federation and chairmanship of the Investment Property Forum.

Cushman & Wakefield - Michael Lindsay has been appointed a partner and head of the EMEA corporate finance team in London. Lindsay will develop C&W's capabilities in the restructuring and recovery of distressed commercial real estate loans and assets across EMEA. Prior to joining C&W, he held various senior appointments at KPMG and Citigroup's real estate and lodging investment banking team. 
 
PRUPIM - Chris Nash has joined as director of institutional business, developing new real estate fund products and securing investment in existing funds. Nash was previously a director and fund manager at ING Real Estate. He has also worked in the treasury departments of Amalgamated Metal Corps and Arab Banking Corporation, and at Lend Lease Corp, the global property infrastructure group.

Rockspring Property Investment Managers
- Hugh Bigham has been appointed head of capital raising and client services for North America, while Julianne Cho has joined as client services representative in Korea, and Maria Bergliden-French as business development manager in the UK. Bigham joins from Principle Advisory Services, Cho from Cornerstone Real Estate Advisers and Bergliden-French from Barclays Wealth.
 
CBRE - Alexander Polenok has been appointed executive managing director of the company's Russian business. CBRE has also hired Natalia Yakimenko as deputy managing director of CBRE Russia. Polenok joins from Russia-based international banking and finance company VTB Group, where he was chief executive of the VTB factoring business. Before then, he spent more than three years at McKinsey & Company. Yakimenko has been with CBRE for more than 10 years.

Royal London Asset Management - Stephanie Hacking has been promoted from assistant fund manager to fund manager, while Andrew Johnston has been promoted from asset manager to assistant fund manager. Both work across RLAM's range of property portfolios, including the £208m (€238m) Royal London Property fund.
