Quentin Warner-Smith has joined Invesco as a senior asset manager on the firm’s Property Income Trust (IPIT).

In his new role, Warner-Smith will develop and implement strategies for the fund, which has around 50 investments in industrial (its largest allocation), office and retail.

He indicated it would continue with the current allocation for the immediate future.

“With the current state of the UK market, it seems we’re making the most of what we’ve got,” he said.

After around a year on IPIT, Warner-Smith will likely head a pan-European hotel fund currently in development.

He joins from RBS, where he spent almost five years as an asset manager.
