GLOBAL – Standard Life Investments, CREFC Europe, PFA, Bastion Infrastructure, American Realty Advisors

Standard Life Investments – The asset manager has appointed Neil Odom-Haslett as head of commercial real estate lending. Reporting to David Paine, head of real estate investments, Odom-Haslett will join at the end of August. Based in London, he will be responsible for all aspects of the firm's commercial real estate lending platform, with an initial focus on good-quality senior secured loans in the UK.

Commercial Real Estate Finance Council Europe (CREFC Europe) – The Council has named Peter Cosmetatos as chief executive, starting in late September. He will be joining after five years as director of policy at the British Property Federation (BPF), where he was responsible for formulating and articulating property industry views on finance, tax and regulatory matters.

Property Funds Association (PFA) – Paul Healy will become the next chief executive at the PFA, starting in September. The appointment is part of the PFA's plan to tap into the industry's senior representatives to deliver guidance, insight and support for the unlisted property sector. Healy has spent 22 years at BlackRock as managing director and head of the Australian real estate team.

Bastion Infrastructure GroupWael Elkhouly has been appointed as a partner and head of asset management. Elkhouly, who will be based in Toronto, Canada, joins Bastion from EISER Infrastructure Partners, a London-based infrastructure manager, where he was head of asset management.

American Realty AdvisorsTodd Fowler has joined as director of marketing and client service. Fowler will be based in the firm's central region office in Chicago.
