GLOBAL – Patrizia, Corestate, PointPark Properties, LaSalle Investment Management, Valad Europe, Savills, Cushman & Wakefield, Hearthstone Investments
Patrizia – Sebastian Lohmer has been appointed managing director. He will succeed Martin Lemke, who is resigning from management as of 30 June this year. Andrew Pratt, meanwhile, has been hired to expand Patrizia's in-house residential investment and asset management capabilities in the UK. He will work alongside James Muir, managing director at Patrizia UK. The appointment is part of the company's plan to create a UK residential investment proposition. Pratt worked most recently at CBRE supporting the development of its residential platform.
Corestate – Steffen Ricken has been appointed managing director and head of global capital raising. He also joins the senior management board and the investment committee of the firm. Ricken, who will start in June, will be responsible for the company's global investor relations and capital-raising activities and expanding the joint venture/club deal business, as well as the development of institutional products. He was previously managing director at IVG Institutional Funds.
PointPark Properties (P3) – The pan-European warehouse asset manager and developer has appointed Andrew Stacey as head of asset management for Western Europe. He takes over from Tim Hennes, who is leaving the company. Stacey joined P3 as managing director for France in February 2011, shortly after P3 entered that market for the first time.
LaSalle Investment Management – Tiziana Galassini has joined the firm as COO and head of product development at LaSalle's client capital group. In this newly created role, she will report to Jon Zehner, global head of the client capital group, and will be based in London.
Valad Europe – Greg Benhamou has been appointed head of investor relations. In this newly created role, he will focus on developing and launching new strategies and products, raising new equity and providing client services to all of Valad Europe's investors. He joins from GE Capital Real Estate, where he held a number of roles including head of EMEA investor relations and European business development director.
Savills – Kyoungdon Jeon has been appointed chief executive at the firm's Seoul office. He joins from CBRE Global Investors Korea, where he was a senior director.
Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) – Michael Morgan has joined as a partner and head of the investment team in Frankfurt, Germany. The company also announced the extension of its Chinese operations by opening its first office in Taipei, Taiwan, appointing Jack Lin as managing director.
Hearthstone Investments – Abigail Hyne has been appointed to the newly created role of marketing executive. Hyne will be responsible for delivering marketing, communications and PR strategies across retail financial services and intermediary and institutional audiences, reporting to Mark Forman, sales and distribution director. Prior to joining Hearthstone, Hyne spent three years at Investec Asset Management as a sales and marketing associate within the UK client group.
