GLOBAL - Henderson Global Investors, Cushman & Wakefield, Urban Land Institute, Aberdeen Asset Management, Savills, St Bride's Managers, The Blackstone Group

Henderson Global Investors - Tim Gibson has been appointed head of property equities for Asia. He will join from AMP Capital Brookfield, where he was a director and European fund manager, in March and will based in London. Gibson will work alongside Michael Wong and Eric Khaw and manage the Henderson Horizon Asia-Pacific Property Equities fund and the Asian investments within the Henderson Horizon Global Property Equities fund and other institutional mandates.

Cushman & Wakefield - Carlo Sant'Albano, chief executive of Exor, the majority shareholder of Cushman & Wakefield, is to become chairman in March. Sant'Albano, who has served as chief executive of Exor for the past five years, has been on the Cushman board since 2007.

Landesbank Baden-Württemberg (LBBW) - Thorsten Schönenberger will take on the function of head of LBBW's commercial real estate financing in Stuttgart. He will take up his new post by 1 July at the latest, succeeding Rainer Konopka, who is taking early retirement after 33 years at the company, its predecessor institutions and subsidiaries. Schönenberger is currently still employed by Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen (Helaba), where he is in charge of international real estate financing.

Urban Land Institute - Simon Treacy, group chief executive of MGPA, has been selected as the incoming chairman of ULI for South Asia, a region that includes the Indian sub-continent, Australia and New Zealand, and all of South East Asia. Treacy, based in Singapore, has been a member of ULI since 2000.

Aberdeen Asset Management - Marc van Heddeghem has been made an independent expert member of the advisory committee of the Aberdeen European Balanced Property fund. Van Heddeghem recently retired from his role as managing director at Redevco Belgium.

Savills - David Dintilhac has joined the property management team in Paris as director. He was previously at LaSalle Investment Management.

St Bride's Managers - The start-up fund management business established by Robert Houston and Stephen Pyne has hired Dominic Hammond as an associate to expand into the US market.

The Blackstone Group - Martin Donnelly has joined the firm's Sydney office to lead business development and client relations in Australia for Blackstone Alternative Asset Management. Donnelly was most recently deputy chief executive officer at ING Investment Management Australia.
