GLOBAL - UNEPFI, Savills, Conwert Immobilien Invest
UNEPFI - The United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative's Property Working Group has appointed Andrew Szyman as co-chair. Szyman is head of sustainability at F&C REIT Asset Management. He takes over from Paul McNamara, director and head of research at Prupim.
Savills - Alberto Gómez has been appointed head of the company's property management department in Madrid. His team has been further strengthened by the recruitment of consultants Elena del Villar, Elena Pérez, Pedro de los Mozos and Miguel Rey. Gómez has been head of Savills' office agency department in Madrid since 2007. Previously, he worked in property management at CB Richard Ellis in Madrid for 10 years. Josep García has also been hired to oversee the company's business in Barcelona, which is expanding its remit in corporate real estate to service clients on a national level as well regionally.
Conwert Immobilien Invest - Volker Riebel has taken over as chief executive at the Austria-based property company. He was previously a member of the administrative board of Conwert.
