GLOBAL - Investment Property Databank, Cushman & Wakefield, IC Immobilien Service, Knight Frank, BNP Real Estate, Grosvenor Fund Management, Browne Jacobson

Investment Property Databank (IPD) - Stephanie Galiègue has been appointed managing director of IPD France and Southern Europe, replacing Christian de Kerangal, who has held the position for six years. Galiègue has been promoted from her current role as global head of portfolio analysis service with effect from 17 January 2011. She joined IPD France in 2005 as head of research and then deputy managing director, contributing substantially to the development of IPD in France, notably in strengthening investor relations and in the improvement of IPD's core services. In her new role, and in conjunction with IPD group managing director Laurent Ternisien, Galiègue will continue to develop IPD's fund analysis and reporting services.

Cushman & Wakefield - Maxime Xantippe has been made a partner and head of capital markets for Belgium, based in the firm's Brussels office. Xantippe was most recently a managing director at European property group Catella and prior to that was managing partner and head of capital markets at CBRE's Belgian and Luxemburg operation.

IC Immobilien Service - Volker Tibbe has been a member of the firm's Munich team. The decentralised asset management and property management company of IC Immobilien Gruppe will soon offer its services on the market as IC ProperytOne Asset & Real Estate Management. In his new role, Tibbe will be responsible for the real estate portfolios of several international investors, among other things. Prior to his transfer to IC Immobilien Gruppe, he held a position with Strategic Management Partners Deutschland, having worked for nearly three years as senior asset manager for Archon Group Deutschland.

Knight Frank - The real estate services company has announced the opening of a new office in Barcelona. Alfredo Pérez Pons, a former executive partner at Capital Dinamyc, will head the office, which will initially have a team of four people and offer property-related services ranging from marketing to real estate strategies and property management.

BNP Paribas Real Estate - Claire Higgins joins as head of UK research from Knight Frank, where she was head of research for five years. She will join the company in mid-December. Keith Steventon, the current head of research who retires in early 2011, will continue to work with BNP Paribas Real Estate on a consultancy basis.

Grosvenor Fund Management - Former Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) Group banker Morgan Laughlin is to take on the newly created role of managing director for Grosvenor Fund Management in Asia Pacific and will launch a new multi-sector fund in Japan. Laughlin was most recently a managing director and regional head of real estate finance in Asia Pacific for RBS. He will join Grosvenor in January and be based in Tokyo.

Browne Jacobson - The law firm has appointed real estate finance lawyer Nina Armstrong to its banking team. Armstrong joins after more than four years at DLA in Birmingham and has extensive experience in advising banks, financial institutions and borrowers on real estate finance transactions and restructurings.
